So not to be repetitive, but 7500+ yards is long even for these guys.

If a longer player hits the driver 340 and has 160 in on a 500 yard par 4, how many clubs is he saving on the guy who hits it 300 and has 200 in?

8 iron versus 5 iron? So a 3 club difference? Or more like a 2 club difference?

One train leaves St. Louie at 8am going 40mph. Another train leaves Chicago...

"he just hit the best shot of the week!"

Its Thursday man...frigging Thursday..

lol ... and i really don't like to get on the "this guy sucks" train for commentators ... but faldo might've said "he's hit a really nice shot there" and zinger's "the best of the week!" ... not even watching it and i'm laughing at it ...

Tony was overdue for a bad round. The gods of golf will only allow you so much success before they kick you in the buttocks.

I have it on good authority from Azinger when Cameron Young finally wins it's going to "open the floodgates".

That putterhead made a side trip to Dunkin' Donuts before it got to the ball.

While that stroke was bad what in the world happened to Luke List and his putting today? It might be the worst strokes gained putting for a round since that stat has been kept.

So his streak in the 60’s ended? Was it 12 or 13 in a row?

Lots of 3 putts I guess and many missed putts in makable range. I only looked at his first hole. Second shot on green 26 ft from pin. If the average is 2.05 to the hole, he took 3 putts, thst is +0.95 right there.

He hit 12 greens in regulation and averaged 2.333 putts per GIR. That's 28 putts on just 12 holes. Ugh. 38 putts total. Longest putt made was 43 inches. Good news is that it's not the worst. 4th worst performance since 2004. Hole by hole listed in link below.

https://golf.com/news/pro-stumbles-worst-statistical-putting-rounds-ever/

He took 37 more during the BMW Championship first round. He made none longer than the 43-incher at the end. He missed seven putts from within 10 feet. And others rolled it better. All of which played a hand in one of the worst Strokes: Gained putting rounds ever. According to golf data gurus Justin Ray and Rick Gehman (and also noted on Golf Channel), List’s minus-8.574 SG: Putting number ranks as the fourth-lowest since 2004, when tracking began; Kirk Triplett, in 2007, and Joe Durant, in 2008, both had a minus-9.12 total, and Keith Mitchell recorded a minus-8.88 last year at the Valspar Championship (where he said he played with a bent putter).

Enjoying the course.

I thought the same last night when I was watching.

Not heard much opinions one way or another about it. Most of the comments seem to be that it is the first time they have played there, etc, etc but from my perspective which of course was me simply sitting my butt on the couch it looked pretty interesting.
