Why was that guy allowed to be that close to the players for that long?!

Security took their time to remove him.

Thereisnospoon commented that he caddied at WCC, so he could give you more insight but the area around WCC is covered with secluded multimillion dollar estates. DuPont type families. Even Willington’s own Joe Biden, is part of the group only because of his position and personally he’s a delightful fella.  I just moved to a 13 acre estate in Jersey from that area. Had a guy down the road who is a first generation billionaire. Yet a couple miles from WCC by I-95, is crime and abject poverty. I was there a couple days during the week and the security I saw were asked directions, not breaking up fights or throwing wealthy fans out for being obnoxious. That’s EXACTLY why I didn’t want to go on a weekend.

Also I wanted to mention.

Rahm, Zalatoris, Rory, Spieth and just a few others had state troopers with them the entire round.   Oddly several golfers were not guarded at all.  I was able to interact with the caddies and golfers pretty easily.   I also wasn't drunk.

I still find it amazing how far these guys hit low irons.  Getting on in two from 255 uphill with an iron on #3.

Crazy

Rory is lucky it wasn't some kind of exploding ball trick thing. I could see that. He picks it up and blam.

In terms of personal injury, how much are three Rory fingers worth on his dominant hand for lost wages for his lifetime?

from a ball striking standpoint or a putting standpoint?

Someone on another thread said he fell asleep watching the third round. I did not. Thoroughly enjoyed the broadcast.

Under the present circumstances I’m more appreciative of the crowds, the roars, Speith and Greller conversation over a bunker shot, the announcing is sharper, the subtle nuances from time to time that make this tournament one of the biggest of the FedEx, and a tie at the top.
And I know … the commercials. I watch a 30 min delay and zip through them. Remember without commercials we’d be paying far more to watch .

I loved it, and I’m watching another 5 hours today, while I type the minutes of our last golf club meeting. Bravo BMW and the PGA. This one is going to be a great finish.

I love all the little side stories going on.  Like how Schauffele and Cantlay can't stand each other and now have to play 4 days in a row and how can they do it and not kill each other and how Cantlay told Monahan "if you make me play with that guy ONE MORE TIME I'll go to LIV, I swear to god I'll do it and how Schauffele.....

This continues to amaze me. I’m curious about some of these long iron lofts. Are they bent a few degrees strong (like some of these 13 degree 3 woods)? Or are they more “standard”?

What did Bozo do this time?

He had a long greenside bunker shot and flew it a little too far and it bounced off behind the pin into the rough.  So he slammed his wedge clubhead into the bottom of his bag and it broke the bottom of his bag and the clubhead went completely inside the bag.  He had to wrestle it to get it out.

Based on the first hour today's gonna be a commercial-fest lol.

Most time, Sundays are front loaded for them and it tapers off quickly towards the end.

ETA:  I’m rooting for a three way playoff with the two frenemies and Stallings. (DOH!)

I love golf. I watch everything including amateurs. But this is a borefest to me. I have it playing on the TV, but I've done housework, worked out, I'm browsing the web. I'm sure the last hour will get intense. I didn't think I would miss all the big names missing but I think I do. These are some pretty bland guys to watch.
