Best *private* Salt Lake golf club?

There is a chance we are going to receive a job offer in Salt Lake so I'm researching the golf.

As far as I can tell the list below are all the private golf clubs in the area (all private - no semi-private?)

 

From a pure golf perspective - which one/ones would you rate as the highest quality?  

(Fast greens - excellent maintenance/manicured - challenging without being stupid long - well designed - fun to play - target golf vs cow pastures - scenic/beauty)

Must be 100% private - members only (faster pace of play and better overall experience)

We don't care at all about all the other typical "country club" amenities - just golf, pure golf.  

Of course they should have frequent events/tournaments - active member participation for men, women and couples (like a regular weekly 18 hole couples game).

 

Bonus question - if you have any club recommendation(s) -

Cost to join?  Dues?  Cart Fees?  Do they have an annual trail fee or allow member carts?

We're not sure yet - we would potentially alter where we live to accommodate proximity to premium golf!

I have only played Victory Ranch ( 4-5 times) but it was real nice. A friend built a house there 6 years or so ago.

They allow member carts, have a small pro shop with 5 or 6 tables to eat at before/after the round.

They have a large community center with a pool, tennis courts, small grocery store if you don't want to go into town.

They also have a fine dinning restaurant. All these facilities are separate but are within the gates of Victory Ranch. 

Only a handful of home owners were full time before covid but I know they have done alot of building out there so it might have changed since then.

 

EDIT Tony Finau and Zach Blair were out with a group one time when we were playing, so if they are playing there it must be pretty high quality.

Personally I would choose salt lake country club. It’s down in the valley which means a longer golf season. Haven’t played there but have walked it and from what I’ve heard it’s still a top tier course. Promontory is also an excellent choice and they have 36 holes. I’ve played there 5-10 times and I’m not a huge fan of the nick but the dye is awesome. Played victory once and the course didn’t wow me but it was in excellent shape. Haven’t played glenwild but heard great things. 
 

Those 4 are really your premium high end CCs. I’ve played most of the others and are all good but not quite on the same level as the other 4. Cottonwood CC is a par 3 course so that’s bottom tier.
