Bending Hybrids?

Is it possible to change hybrid lie angles (Flatter)?  I have an old Adams Idea Pro prototype and a new Callaway Apex.

The Adams can for sure, with the right bending unit and clamp

I would think there must be.  That's a huge golf area.

 

I did a little looking around for you and found this custom shop.  Not a big retail outlet and the reviews describe it as a "tour van" type of shop.  This is the kind of place you want to start with your question.  I see they have a True Blue bending unit, which if they have the right clamps for it, should probably be able to do it.  If they can't do it and there is someone around who can in the area, they'll likely be able to steer you in the right direction.

I also called him yesterday around 7:30 PM and he answered and is super nice. I am going to send him my hybrid to bend also.

Glad to see it is working out. My understanding, the ability to bend starts with whether the hybrid has a short or long hosel. Long hosel hybrids have a greater chance they can be bent. My understanding if a short hosel, stay away from trying to bend. I had Ping G20 hybrids bent upright with no issues for the golf shop.

Are you able to bend all woods ? Would have someone I would be interested in sending for bending . I’d pay shipping

Adams made hybrids with some of the longest hosels. A long hosel permits bending (by someone who know what they're doing...)

Its more to it, some hybrids is actually designed with a stainless steel hosel, and thats very important here, if its all titanium, we can forget to try bending, no matter how long it is, so "long and stainless steel" = bendable. (Adams Pro hybrids has a long stainless steel hosel).

I've had a very hard time convincing a big box golf store to do this. Bending 3 woods and hybrids is very common on tour trucks but not so common in big box stores cuz the chance of error is significantly higher when bending woods and hybrids
