Looks like they are playing to the "high toe" crowd, moving the COG out to the toe for more consistent ball striking for those that don't always get the center of the face.

 

Wonder if they will make at least one of the finishes in LH?

I bet they make the chrome in LH, but who knows with Mizuno. The S18s were my favorite wedges, went through 2 sets if them before moving on to the T22s which are excellent. I am not interested at all in the S23s.

I was just looking at the T22's as i'm sick of the RAW face wedges look and I don't love Vokey's.

Looks like they went away from the hollow design of the es21.  I hope they offer a grind with a preworn leading edge.

I don't like a lot of bounce on my wedges, probably why I like Mizzy wedges. Tried vokeys, liked the SM5, hated SM7&8.

Absolutely, felt like I could hit 3/4 and full shots with the T-20 60* all day, but rarely used it around the green.  Even bought the 62* with the intent of replacing my my PM grind.  Never bent it to 64 and it still has the plastic on it.

I actually like the look of them, based on these limited photos.

 

The copper underlay is one of the better Mizuno features in recent years and good to see it'll be included on these as well.

No they are not the replacement.  Mizuno typically releases a wedge every year, cycling between a game improvement every other year and the “S” version is usually that.

More likely these are the replacement for the ES21 wedges.

I used the 51 and 55 a ton. Wore them out fast would get them again easy. I just need 10-12 degrees bounce for the 60. Or some leading edge grind. It was fat city for me over and over.

I still have the blue 51 in the bag and love it.  

 

So our dear Mizuno letter needs to include:

Higher bounce options

Bring back the blue finish 

A little something for all the lefties out there
