Mizuno ST-Z 220 driver markdown

Saw they dropped price to $299.99.  Anyone game one?  Good reviews.  Debating between this or PXG Gen 5.  Both same price.

My son had one for a short stint…very forgiving like hard to miss a fairway unless you just put an awful swing on it. Looks good, feels great but not the longest driver out. He hits his St190 about 5-10 yds longer just not as straight.

I played in Myrtle last week - 4 courses 4 days. My Rougue ST Max was working for me (Smoke IM10 50 R) on Thurs, Fri, Sat - I am not the long hitter that so many here are.  Sunday at TPC case of the lefts either dead straight left or snap hook left. This has happened off and on to the point where I will be trying a heavier R shaft around 65 this week/weekend.  If it does not help then I will likely scoop one of these ST-Z's up with the RDX shaft. My SS varies from around 88 to 92. That is on the cusp of R or S. Any idea if one or the other might take the lefts out of play - I could see myself possibly keeping the shaft and having a Callaway tip installed later.  I assume the R would increase distance and the S might improve accuracy - but no idea the cost of the accuracy on distance.

In pure Wrx form one round of the lefts and automatically must be the shaft. Lol. Ever thought that in day 4 of your golf trip your swing went to the shitter? Or Alignment? Or ball position.  Fix your swing fault instead of band aids.

I have the S-X 220 and it is very strident and very forgiving.   Great looking.   Also have the Gen 5 0811.    Both in R.  
 

But just got a TSR 2 in and after one on course session work it today.  Both those will go on sale as well as the Stealth and Conra LTD-X.   TSR. Lows rhem all away.

How dare you. If you have a bad round, it's ALWAYS the equipments fault. Why are you here if you dont change shafts/etc each time something goes wrong?

Just picked one of these up and I'm impressed.  Good sound and good feel.  It seems like a takes a pretty funky swing to get one not in play.

Got one coming in soon and looking forward to testing! I'm usually in a 10.5* head with all drivers but ran into a good deal on a 9.5* model. Can anyone comment on how the face angle changes with loft adjustments? I'm worried about adjusting to 10-10.5* and closing the face a ton at address.

Don’t believe so as there is not a new model of it coming out.
