Final round 64 to win the Target World Challenge
Congratulations to Luke Donald for winning the Target World Challenge. Trailing by six strokes going into the final round he made 8 birdies and no bogeys to finish with a 64 and two strokes ahead of Darren Clarke. I would have loved to see Clarke win, but Luke is a :) man and one of my favorites!

I agree with you all on personality and his swing. I followed Luke and Funk the whole round on Friday at the Target World Challenge. I was shocked to see no report on his playing he looked so in control to me. I did not see him have to pitch or chip but twice. Once for an eagle and the other from a wayward drive back to the fairway where he ended up just missing a birdie putt and tap in par. He was in the fairway and on the green within 10-15 feet every hole it seemed. He shot 68 Friday and he missed so many possible birdie putts and just tapped in for par most of the time. He could have been lower easily and never had to scramble.

I watched most of the guys on the range and he was hitting two different drivers. Apparently something happened to his regular one sometime before wed or thurs. Not sure when. Anyway, you could tell he was trying to figure them out and one he was hooking one of them a little bit on the range. My point is that I think his first round even par was becuase he was not comfortable with the driver and figured it out each day afterwards.

I came home Friday and thought they should watch out for him but like the announcers I didn't think Padraig, Clarke and Campbell would shoot even par or worse Sunday, but if they did I was sure Luke was going to put in a round under 68 once he figured out the greens. Anyway this is my first post but I thougt Luke's iron game was just so straight. He never looked like he was timid to fire at those flags compared to the other players I saw.

I am still kinda shocked by the lack of coverage becuase I thought he looked the best out there tee to green just wasn't sinking dramatic long putts. He was out driving Funk with his 3 wood as well.

Great first post! They showed his stat's for Sunday. He was 12/13 fairways, and 17/18 greens with 29 putts. There is no doubt Luke is a great ball striker.
