The problem is the item is then reposted for another auction!  Same item.  Never out of stock/lost.  Why does Ebay not hold them accountable?

This is one of the most frustrating parts IMO. Quickshipgolf and others like them (Globalgolf too I believe) have been in constant violation of a handful of rules for years, they just do high enough volume that eBay looks the other way. 

Having managed a marketplace on eBay for a business in a past life I became aware of how some of these things work. The bottom line is that if you do high enough volume you functionally have a different set of rules that apply to you. Canceling transactions as a seller hurts you if "item not in stock" is selected as the reason, however only if it is a certain percentage of your sales. If you do higher dollar/lower volume (like I was doing) then it can really impact your ability to sell (various restrictions placed on your account etc). With high enough volume however you can basically ignore the rules because as long as the ratio stays low enough, no restrictions are placed. You can literally adopt the policy of canceling transactions that don't sell for enough in direct violation of the rules and have nothing happen to you.

And again, this is what reserve prices are for. If you want to list it for $1 but aren't willing to take less than $10, set a reserve. Don't cancel the sale because someone got it for $1, that's so shady.

quickshipgolf and ksouth isnt going to change anytime soon. They get away with this from the sheer volume they sell.

 

Doesnt mean you cant get away with good prices every now and then though. Unfortunate in your case.

 

I luckily havent been cancelled on by them yet, but even if i did, id be hesitant on leaving a bad review. Ive caught my fair share of great prices off some auctions and would hate to get banned from their store.

Didn’t hurt my feelings either. After the two purchases in a row from them I blocked them, so it was mutual! 🤣

For these sellers, they aren't worried about retaining customers.  They know new customers will buy from them because of their prices/selection, so they don't care about the backlash of cancelling orders.  That's the nature of the beast when you mess with the low hanging fruit.

I have bought a ton of golf equipment from quickship, ksouth, tee2green and global since 2017. I've have nothing but positive experiences with them, zero issues.

I'm not a fan of how they and their evil twin K9South (I think) do things like this, but I do look at their stuff and there are some good deals to be had - even at the re-post prices - you just need to play the game. I did, and got a new (despite the ad saying otherwise) ST-Z 220 for about $225 shipped with tax.  I am very pleased with the speed of shipping - slightly better than average and the product. I agree that they game the system - but I'm not looking to take advantage (even if they are and do). I just want what I want, and my only demand is fair/reasonable pricing.  Are they THE place for me to shop - no - actually I have only bought from them maybe 2 times in gosh 10 or so years?
