Walkable San Diego courses with unlimited memberships/ CCs?

Hi everyone. I will be relocating to SD next month and looking for any courses you recommend that might offer unlimited monthly memberships, or if you have any possible CC recommendations. I will be up in the RB area most likely, so I would prefer a closer course. The only CC I have really looked at is the Heights, so if anyone has played there I'd love to hear opinions. I do plan on getting the JC 20/30 pass since it seems like a cheap way to play a few courses.

I am a member at The Heights (formerly Bernardo Heights CC) and I really enjoy the course and membership.  The course is easily walkable and the majority of the membership walks.   Course conditions vary throughout the year as expected but are always above average with the exception of the bunkers.  The greens are definitely the best part and most consistent element of the course.  On the flip side, I will say the course is extremely crowded and hosts a lot of events that can limit tee times based on your preferred playing times.  Crowded is a relative term as it is nowhere near as crowded as a muni but is drastically different from other private clubs in the amount of use/play.
