Tee holder for hitting driver off mats

I’ve seen some you tube videos where they are hitting driver off mats and have some string or lanyard system to hold onto the tee so it doesn’t go flying.Anybody know what they called and where to find them?

Bought these, Cheap, but works.

 

Multiple sizes and got a 4 pack, have 2 sets at home and keep 1 in the golf bag.  again cheap... but works.

The tee claw is great for hitting off mats.  I use it with the tornado tee use it when our range goes to mats.  No need to chase the tee all over and it lasts a long time.

Be careful with those. My Stealth+ face started delaminating very quickly from using those.

I have an assortment of rubber range tees, diff heights. I just remove the usually too tall range tee there and substitute whatever height I need

You sure that was the fault of the tees? Haven't others been having the same face issues with their Stealths?

For the OP, I just cut a strip off a heavy duty workout band my wife doesn't use anymore. Then tied it to one of those teepee style tees. But anything elastic-ish like that should work if you wanted to go the resourceful DIY route.

In my case, yes I’m absolutely positive. My tee was black in color. I noticed a strange sound from the contact so I looked at the face. 
 

The results looked like the face picked up some of the black from the tee. I didn’t really care and thought I would just wipe it off later.

After five shots, the damage was done.

 

I didn’t know about the peeling face until I put water on the face to clean it. You could see that water had went between the thin membrane and the carbon.

I heard back from TaylorMade yesterday. They are actually out of Stealth+ heads currently. They are supposed to send me a new club in 10 days once their supply comes in. At least I got a replacement which I will flip.

I stitched this DIY solution together based upon a tip I found about weighting down the tee. Worked well at my local range today where it’s hard to get tees to stand up and, once you do, they typically go flying forward into the grass. 
 

It’s a swing weight donut ($7 at Dick’s), a shoe lace, and a rubber tee holder that I already had (also from Dick’s). Overall, it worked very well and I found that it was much less of a hassle than putting down a new tee every shot. It worked even better when I put the weight in front of the tee instead of behind it.

can you sure a link? I think I found the tees, but it looks like they will fly forward when you hit off a mat.

Those are what I use.  Have had them for years.  Work perfectly.   It'll fly a few feet with every swing.  I also use the shorter one for irons off the mats so I don't hurt my shoulder and elbow.   But I play 4 days a week.

They will fly forward. I just pick them up. Unless you’re looking at using them at an outdoor range?

After trying several types of tees in my Sim, I settled on these.

Combined with their tether/swivels, and either their little weight bag or your own weight, these work really well.

Another vote for Birtees and the tee claw.  Always the same consistent height and doesnt go flying down the range.  Birtees are expensive if you want to keep buying a specific size though.
