Go to each private and speak to the new membership director. You can also call beforehand and ask about current dues and wait lists. Last I heard pretty much every private in the Orlando area was on a waitlist and did not offer any sort of discount anymore.

Islesworth if you're a millionaire and want everyone to know it while looking down on them

Orange Tree if you're a 'real golfer'

Bay Hill if you have kids and want to pretend you're a 'real golfer'

Lake Nona if you well...live in Lake Nona since there's nothing else around there

CCO if youre a doctor or lawyer stuck in College Park because your office is there

Interlachen if you live near Park Ave never want to leave your 2mi radius bubble

Tranquilo if you enjoy never seeing any other members ever

Just joking...maybe...

Tight course. Has matches and games. Nice club but small clubhouse and not many amenities. Always looks good. Cool dudes there.

anything specific you want to know?

Really funny, yet accurate, summary.  Bella Collina is another great course with amazing facilities.  Having said that, my buddy just joined the other week and is having a harder than expected time reserving peak tee times.  I play all over including many private clubs but I'm not a member anywhere so I don't know if this is the norm.

FWIW, saying Orange Tree is "tight" might be the understatement of the year.  🙂

When I called Bella Collina, they told me a vast majority of the members were older and it may not be my vive. I'll call again though!

Would you want to play Orange Tree everyday?

Not sure of the social side of things but I was only thinking of the course at BC, which is very fun and unique to Central Florida with some actual changes in terrain and elevation. If you're unfamiliar, CFL is flat as hell.

As for Orange Tree, it's been a very long time so I don't remember the course, just that it was very tight and it has the reputation of being one of the most challenging in the area.  If that's your bag, then you should strongly consider Orange Tree.  Another buddy of mine is a member and I need to get back out there.

If you're considering Orange Tree then I'm assuming you're going to be living and/or leaning towards playing on the west side of town.  Tranquilo is a great course on Disney property but getting to and from could be a chore and add to your total time away from home, which could be a deal breaker for some.  If Bay Hill is possible for you and if they're accepting new members, I would 100% choose BH.

BH isn't accepting any new members, I asked. 2+ year wait list.

I looked into Tranquillo, but I heard there wasn't alot of regular members and it's more resort style.

Is the course nice? I'm looking for a prestine place.

Have any pictures?

I played there last year before the PGA Show.  It is the literally one of the tightest golf courses I've ever played.  Hit multiple tee shots a few yards off the fairways and the ball was OB.  Green complexes were nice and there were some cool holes but to me it has more a muni feel than an upscale club that you are looking for.  Def not even the same range as Lake Nona, etc.

Vokey SM8 Black Wedges- 50F, 54S, & 58D with KBS Black $ Taper

I was looking at Nona, but they increased entry fee by 50% and dues by 20%. I said no thanks.
