Scotty Studio Stainless NP2 FAKE or REAL?

Alright Scotty experts, I can usually spot a fake but I think this may be a pretty good one. Thought it was legit but the Newport “2” and sole etchings look a tad off after comparing it to some online. The 2 seems a little bigger than Newport. Let me know what you think. FAKE or REAL?

Never faked. First fakes really started popping up on the Studio Style line.

No it's definitely real, but I agree with the op that the "2" after Newport on the sole looks odd. I believe this is one of the later models as Newport and the number "2" are separate lines in some of the earlier runs.

But Yes, no doubt that's a genuine.

 

    Even if they did fake this model, which apparently is not common though I wouldn't say never, I can tell from the other pictures this is genuine.

 

   I'm curious if anyone can tell if this has been refinished or not from some of the photos you can see the shimmer to the silver head.

    Also you can notice in the cavity right under the letters "E" and "R" in Cameron a circular pattern. I assume from the Milling process and was never smoothed/sanded/buffed/ out in manufacturing. mine has this exact same detail and I've noticed other Studio Stainless do as well. It's actually a positive thing if you're trying to determine authenticity.

 

Anyone else want to touch on whether this putter has been refinished or not and the circular Milling mark underneath Cameron please Do!
