Never cared much about the Presidents Cup simply because it is hardly ever competitive. I cared so little that even when offered free tickets every time it was at RTG Virginia I never went.  The only real effect was a traffic jam on the way to my club.

 

Now with an even less competitive International team my interest is zero. Maybe as the Asians produce more competitive players there will be some real competition in future years. Right now it's usually like the Packers playing  a Div 3 college.

I've always wondered about ball selection in foursome play.

 

At this level I'm guessing these guys can tell the difference between a ProV1 and a ProV1x.

 

Or a ProV and a ChromeSoft...

 

How do they adjust? Or do they?

 I think the ball is often one of the criteria used in pairing players.
