Man. These refs in the Carolina Notre dame game.    They absolutely cannot stand the idea of us gaining a yard.  
 

I’ve seen alot of bad officiating.  But this was top 5 at least.  Your QB has a defender sitting on him after a play with 30 seconds to go , in a hurry up situation and no flag.     Until you push him off the QB. Then you get the flag.  Glad that ref is retiring.  He should have a couple years ago before he lost his eye sight.

Bama showing the world why a 4 team playoff doesn’t work.  Tcu should be in.  But no doubt Bama  should be in too.

K State has made some stupid mistakes and their coaching staff isn't helping them.  However, Bama looks solid today and their performance does support a deeper playoff field.

Yep. I agree.  
 

it just keeps smacking me in the face though as a weekly sec watcher.   12 years straight now Alabama has a 12 win season.  And that’s not good enough .  They’re doing that in by far the toughest conference, maybe by a factor of 2.    It’s very Cannibalistic in my opinion.  And also politically at a disadvantage …..The committee for the playoff always has $ on its mind it seems. So two sec teams getting in requires two near perfect seasons.  And yet somehow we can have Michigan and Ohio state in at will.  ( Ohio state clearly is the weakest team in the playoff and should not be in - there I said it ).

 

im not a Bama homer.  Opposite really. But I have to watch allot of their play.  And I know that no Sec team ever thinks they’ll beat Bama handily .  They never take that game for granted.  Aside from some very strong Clemson teams beating them , we continually see them destroy non conference teams. As much as I like TCU.  Bama has the best chance of beating Kirby smarts bulldogs. 
 

 

 

 

Looking forward to a Georgia TCU championship game.  Hope it’s a tight one.

Frogs were fortunate.  They need to move the ball better in the 2nd half.  Michigan is going to come roaring back.  I hope TCU can weather the storm and hold on.

I agree .     They need to buckle down here. It’s theirs to lose.  
 

I cringe more and more with each Michigan fan they show on screen. Woof.   😂.  Does the sun never shine  up there ?

Maybe so.  I suspect we just saw a A +++ Ohio state game.  Literally best possible play by all players vs a c or B Georgia  game.  Easily worst I’ve seen Bennett play for sure. And worst offensive line play by Georgia because it was first sack of Bennett in 6 games.  And I believe they got to him 3 times.  So you maybe correct.

Crazy you and Kirb said the same thing, but Bennett threw for 3 TDs/1 INT and 398 yards. Not exactly a crap showing.

I can't wait to read this thread in the morning. I had to work a fancy party tonight, but fortunately I got to take in a lot of the action in both games.

Soft zone defense and no pressure, aka the prevent defense.  It prevented OSU from winning. Georgia amped up the pressure on Stroud late, outside of his long scramble, their last two series didn’t accomplish much. 
 

In today’s game you have to play to win, not play not to lose.

I truly expected a blowout.   I’ll be pulling for tcu in the title game.  I will. But don’t expect this Georgia team to be the one that shows up.  I fear this will wake them up , and they’ll come out firing on all cylinders.  Kirby definitely will be preaching all week.

He was preaching it before the celebrations had really started. I think the Georgia defense played poorly for sure. Offense was spotty and Bennett did make some poor throws, but mostly OSU just shredded the Georgia  D vs. what I expected.

Yep.  But if I’m not mistaken the osu QB had a career rushing night by a mile.  I heard them say the scouting report didn’t even have him listed as a run threat.  So he just decided to carry them for all the marbles. Which is admirable. But hard to say if it’s sustainable? I know he was a hands length from being sacked many times. Feels like 10 or more and he’d get away and run for 10 plus.  
 

I think the Georgia offensive line had a poor performance too , or either the osu D line is way underrated.  They got pressure nearly every single play.

Hope you collected! Ga. didn't look too good and showed their Achilles heel with poor pass defense once again, but definitely not taking anything away from Stroud as he had a great game.  Stetson not so much even though he and Stroud ended up with identical completions vs. attempts and Stetson had 50 more yards than CJ. He made some poor decisions and wasn't his usual self it seemed. Though he did come back and made some great passes in the end. He's a winner. 

 

Dawgs gonna have their hands full next week as their pass defense is exposed and Duggan looked awesome in their win. Who you liking?
