Woods finally came in , plus some additional rusting on the Sub70's. They looking sharp

 

I got a new putter on the way too once a certain someone gets off his keester lol .....@sergizmo

I'm playing the C722 as well.  Have it setup at 44.5" and love it.  Reliable, accurate, and workable.

The irons really are looking great with a bit of patina. Interested in hearing your thoughts on C series in driver versus E series for the fairway, quite a nice setup overall👍🏻

Have thought about pulling the trigger on their clubs many times…love their customer service and them really appreciating people’s business and being willing to work with them.

Honestly i'm pretty OCD and ordered the E722 driver too just because i didn't want to mix series....But Tour Edge god bless them sent me the C722 anyway for driver. For 3 wood only the E is available lefty

 

When i told my pro about the mixup he said Tour Edge probably knows i'm awesome and really wanted the C. 

 

LOL....Haven't hit them much but will provide thoughts! I'm doing a pretty extensive ball test this winter so will get on a trackman with them

You should man, i'm loving the DTC guys lately....order irons at a great price and get a free hat and towel? Twist my arm sub70 folks!

 

They feel really nice and look awesome. I'm really tempted by PXG 0317s and Haywoods....but i keep telling myself not to buy them. I'm not sure i could like anything really more, and they turn a lot of heads. I had a dude at the SIM last week stop me and was like "whoa man what are those" . 

 

Plus, the fewer irons i buy the more Deschamps putters i can have....and i want ALL of them

Will a CAD preview of your engravings (stage 2 milling) tide you over for a bit? I can get that to you tomorrow.

Man, I always wonder where you guys find the time. I've started new working on a new WITB thread about 50 times over the past few months and I get about 2 photos snapped before a screaming kid or regurgitating animal interrupts. Snow may be the only answer.

 

But, @MtlJeff rarely disappoints. Sleeper bag. Always cool to see something a bit different.

 

Love the on course photos too. Never would have guessed you bore such a striking resemblance to Jim Furyk. Dropping 58s on fools on the daily...

 

All I can say is I'm not playing you for money anytime soon.

LOL i work from home so my daughter is at school during the day. There's a lot less time for WRX at night (i also tend to have a lot of calls at night with California or Asia). So i try to get my golf fix in during the day

 

I'm really happy with the current bag, thanks! It's pretty good looking stuff, i get asked a lot about the putter and now the irons

 

The DTC stuff is largely inexpensive, so i always want to get more, but try to convince myself i only need a few iron sets haha. 

 

I think my swing looks more like Jim Furyk!

I see you moved away from the PXG.  I am looking at one now.  I have always wanted to try PXG.  Would you still recommend them?

For sure i would recommend, they make great stuff at great prices. I just got bored and buy a new set of irons every year. I am pretty much on record that if my Q4 expenses work out like expected i am buying 0317 ST's and debating on those vs my Sub70s for next year. 

 

Would highly recommend trying PXG if you are considering. Their prices are great and products are quality

Beauties for sure! Honestly, I've been browsing and researching quite a bit, but trying really hard not to buy new irons until during the season when I can put whatever I buy head-to-head vs my AP2's.

 

You Win the off-season shiny and new battle my man...at this stage I think I might be able to make it through the Winter.

 

Front-runners for me will probably be the Mizzy Pro 223's, Srixon ZX7 II, or go the MTLJeff route and custom order Sub 70 or PXG. The new TM 2023 stuff is very sexy also!!

I'm open to all options man.

 

Only options I'm not too high on are the T100/T100s from Titleist because they are just so small and terrifying, and dislike the look of the T200 with the plastic caps on the back. And esthetically I've never been a big fan of Cally or PING irons. Other than that I'm definitely open-minded.

I tend to not buy stuff during the summer once the season gets going....I'm an off-season ho lol....I don't like to mess during tournament season

It's humiliating to admit but i never played hockey and can't even skate! LOL

 

How terrible is that?

 

Now football and basketball on the other hand.....I have an actual in-game dunk as a 6 foot white guy. I want that written on my grave

It's been a fruitful Holidays! Not only did i get my 0317s but Serge also let me know my new Deschamps putter which will be incredibly bada** is being worked on also!

No hockey and from Quebec? Tabernac!! 

 

But cost wise golf and hockey are on par which people don't realize. Also hockey in Canada is like you're not good by 12 its beer leagues for you.
