Haha, our school wouldn't let us play Wu-Tang clan, they said it was because of all of the swearing, which is probably true. We were like this old traditional catholic private school though so i'm not sure they were really down with us playing Wu-Tang. They were OK with soft stuff like the firm LOL

 

My team was me (white guy) our center who was black, and then 10 Filipinos. haha. Size was not our strength. But we finished top 5 in the province all of my years there. 

 

When i first joined WRX many years ago, my avatar some may remember was the ODB License from "Return to the 36 chambers". Eventually when i started writing for the site and my picture got posted, a few people told me they always thought i was a black guy. I was like "you didn't think i was ODB did you?"

And the 4 and 5 iron of the 0317 is actually a pretty significant change. I'm actually a bit shocked they did this as part of a standard set. The 4 is noticeably bigger, you can actually see the back flange a bit at address. So it doesn't "flow" like a traditional blended set as much IMO.

The headcovers are very cool, they are really unique and kind of have a classic old school feel

I'm getting up there in the years now....so 270 with a 3 wood (off deck) and 290 driver is apparently all I got now lol

 

At 41 this is good I think!

Those are decent numbers but I think the answer to more distance is right in your backyard. Not sure where the Royal Quebec Golf Club is relative to where you are in Montreal but if you go and see Shawn Clement you can get the kind of numbers (or better) his daughter is getting. Your ball speed is higher and yet she is getting  another 20 yards of total distance (8:42 of video for stats).

 

Maybe they are at a higher elevation or the simulator is more finally tuned but you should be getting more. Her driver is probably longer than yours and her spin rate is about 700 less - but maybe there is hope.

Royal Quebec is about 3 hours from MTL

 

I know my main issues, my launch sucks and this is largely because I play my driver middle of my stance which is very uncommon. If I play it off my front foot I can swing about 3 mph faster and hit it further. I just can't keep it on the planet.

That is something!  The finish and the bumpers are so nice.  Like a zing/laguna and an anser/Newport had a baby that got the best attributes of both.  Glad I’m currently drinking the LAB koolaid so I don’t have to buy another new putter…
