Reminds me of that blue and black crown of the Nike head from the past. Great sounding and feeling driver

I just don’t get the lipstick on the crown. Hopefully the lst doesn’t have it.

Pretty sure someone else mentioned the driver shown is the LST version. Sounds like the Max is all titanium based on previous comments. I can’t confirm any of that is true but just going off what others mentioned in the thread.

Im gonna be honest... if the looks arent there... it feels like performance wont be either. It looks as if it grabbed some of last years model and cobra and taylormade m2 and said ok now lets make the crown even funkier then the last few. If you cant figure out the look is very unoriginal then how am i supposed to think it has any effort being better then last year. Hard pass from me. Titleist looks alot better. Lets see what taylormade and cally does.

Makes sense to go lighter with carbon on the LST.  Ping has been a bit heavier than other heads with their last few iterations.  I like them going lighter on the “better ball striker,” head to keep up with the speed and distance of other OEMS, while maintaining high MOI in the standard and SFT models.

I think the two tone of the crown looks kind of cool. Interested to see the max version but I wish ping would do another sub 460cc driver like the g400/410 plus in the non-lst model.

TLDR: Does it have the silly ":Turbulators" on the top. That is THE single thing that has kept me from even trying it the last 5+ years.

It's like they saw the hideous radspeed and thought, "you know, we can make this worse!" 
 

really disappointed in how this looks. I'm sure the performance is there, but yikes.

Will definitely give it a shot to unseat the G400. Performance is #1, this includes sound. If it's that muted thwack like the G400 we may be in business.

M2\Radspeed color scheme I guess. 

It has that " just tweaked it look " to me. From the G400 to the 410, this is from the G425 to the 430.

I have to say, I just don't really care for the look.  The fit/finish maybe? The carbon being a completely different shade of black seems weird.  The lipstick on the crown where Ping has kept it pretty clean before.  I don't know.  I guess I am just a little disappointed in the finished product.

Now I just want to hear the spiel from Ping!  And see what the stock shaft offerings are, Ping usually knocks it out of the park on the stock shafts.

Yeah same.  I imagine there has to be more to it than just carbon on one of the 3 offerings.
