P770 2 Iron!!!

I wonder if they’re clearing inventory before a new model? One of the UK golf mags stated there’s a new version due soon.

After buying a P770 3 iron I'm not sure if I'd agree with their "Premium Feel" claim, as it's still very much on the clicky side, even with an S400 fitted. 

 

Struggling to argue with the performance however - except off a bare lie, where it still isn't as easy to use as a MB (for me).

I've been playing 'players distance' offerings for so long that I'm used to the slightly clicky feel of them from almost every OEM. I just moved into P770s and while I do notice it at times its extremely infrequent and the performance trumps it.

I have heard there is a new P770 coming out in 2023. Could be a last push to sell some heads, but also I’m sure TM knew what they were doing when this was in the bag of a few pros at the Open Championship.

I played the p770 for awhile and felt the same about the click. Like you said though because of performance it is hard to argue and why I had to place an order for this.

Definitely going to hit one as soon as possible and see if it’s worth replacing my X Forged. P790 udi never suited me but I briefly had a set of 770s and the long irons were great. 
 

interested to hear the feedback on this one and see how it compares to the 790

Unless you're playing true links golf, I really don't understand why anyone would play this over a hybrid or 5 wood. Off the tee sure it's nice but I love my hybrid off the tee as well and it is so much more effective from rough or fairway bunkers going for par 5s in two and goes high enough that it'll stop on a dime if you play a little cut in. Just such a one dimensional club for parkland courses.

I am tempted, I play links and I switch currently between a i59 3 iron and a p790 UDI 2 iron; might get this 770 or get the i59 bumped up to 20*

I have one of these, tested it out today, feel was less than impressive, and the flight was not as strong or dependable as the 790 UDI, or the stealth/sim udi.
