4. Why do you want to review a Cleveland Launcher XL HALO Fairway Woods? I’m interested in whether or not the Launcher would help get more carry than my LST - I’m always looking for a fairway what is a pleasing balance between piercing flight and effortless launch/carry.

For me, the fairway wood is the either an asset or the scariest club in the bag. The fairway wood is biggest asset if you’re confident with it off the tee and turf. It can help find fairways and cover long yardages into par 5’s. It’s a great feeling knowing that if the driver goes off the rails, there’s another trusty club in the bag you can go to.

 

However, given those opportunities, If you’re intimidated by the fairway wood, it can leave questions and doubts in the gap(s) between driver and long irons. Making some longer holes destined to be automatic layups.

 

I would like to to see how the Cleveland Launcher XL Halo performs in these situations.

4.  I currently play the their XL 24 degree hybrid, which for the price point is the best hybrid I have ever played.  Looking to try the 3 or 5 wood to see if it plays similar to the hybrid, forgiving and consistent.  The price is very appealing as TM and others are getting way too expensive.
