refinish for burnt clubs

I have acquired a set of Srixon heads that were in a car fire.  They are pretty charred and the shafts are toast.  Is there anything that would prevent them from being refinished?  Will they be playable if I get them refinished?  Also, where do we recommend getting irons refinished?

I wouldn't think so. Depending upon how hot the fire was, it could have annealed (I think this is the term) and softened/weakened the metal. I would think the remaining chrome could be stripped then just rechromed. I tried the iron factory a few years ago on a single iron. I wasn't super impressed with their work. I'd recommend finding someone else if you decide to refinish them.

I would think they'd be fine. My Srixon's are going to Flanigan Bilt after the season ends.

I have driver heads refinished at Continental Golf.  They do good work.
