Callaway needs to start exploring and researching new metals.  Like Titleist with the ATI titanium metals in the drivers and Mizuno with the chromoly in the Hot Metals.  Callaway is currently flush with cash and can/should go deep with their R&D.  There also needs to be new motto other than "Kings of Distance", which they have used for the last two years.

I've seen the new line. Callaway is being incredibly tight lipped this year by design. TaylorMade keeps winning the early season marketing and hype battle. 

 

Reps didn't get any info until very recently at the sales meeting. Last year for the Rogue launch I got an early access live stream even before the sales meeting. Not this year.

 

It's going to be a killer release!

For whoever knows something, does it contain materials/metals different than Callaway drivers in the past? you don't need to say what materials, just trying to figure out if its different.

 I dont care what anyone says. Callaway has been the best at drivers for a long time overall. Imo they put out the best stuff in each category overall all the time. If i had to play one round at a certain score to save my life... give me a full bag of Callaway. Driver all the way to putter and ball.

I mean, it's safe to assume that they'll be coming out with new irons, too. They do every winter. They announced the Apex irons in January 2021 as well as the Epic drivers; they announced the Rogue iron family this past January along with the Rogue drivers. I'd bet a lot of money on them announcing new irons in January.

I assume we'll have a lot more info by next month I guess we'll see but my local course pro is Callaway staffed and said Hes going to get fit for the new driver next month so if i can possibly get any info or pictures ill make sure to share asap

That is exactly what the triple diamond versions of the latest Callaway heads were for.  They were the most neutral across the board.

I’d say fade biased for TDLS, and mid spin and lower launch. So not neutral.

I was referring to just the standard tour issue triple diamond head.  Not any of the variations such as the LS, DS, S, T, etc.

Callaway says that ever time/year.  And then they get lost in the TaylorMade marketing machine.  And for 2023, Callaway and TaylorMade have to beat out the new release TSR Line from Titleist and the upcoming G430 Line from Ping.

From what I am hearing, there will be an 8* head offered this year in the Low Spin/Tour model which has me VERY excited. Would also like to the see the Ventus TR Black as an upgrade offering. Fingers crossed for the latter!
