Sei Young Kim, what the Hell was that? That was some pretty awful all-round golf. I have my theories about her psychological approach to golf, but I've said them before.

 

Looks like the Jutarnugarns want to play the CME championship after all!

Maybe it's my imagination, but they all seem a bit looser when Judy is in the booth.  Judy's Drive On clip was great, too.

Like Yealimi Noh, we don't really know how badly she's been playing because we haven't seen them on TV.  But, every dog has its day, she just need to strike gold either in Los Angeles or Belleair.

 

 

 

I saw a very quick glimpse of Yealimi on today's coverage, but only because they had just showed an iron shot by Brittany Altomare who is in her group.  Heh.  

 

Today was the first time I'd seen Jennifer Song during coverage in quite a while.  She's hasn't had a very good year - came into the week at #121.

Did you mean that those were scores from that featured group of Brooke/ Nelly/ Sei Young in R1?

The morning wave caught a bad break with the weather yesterday. It looks like the wind will be consistently light all day today, so there's not much chance to make up the 3+ shot differential.

I know Ottawa Hunt did for Brooke and Brittany, I'm sure she's played there before as it's an hour from her home but they were given membership when she was 19 and while nice thing the Golf club can brag about, it doesn't help Brooke as she live full time in Florida lol

Very consistent year.

 

Only 4 top 10 finishes but a lot of top 25 finishes. Plus, I don't think she has missed a cut on the LPGA Tour this year.

 

She was so close winning in Thailand.

lol I counted it up and I think it's 21 players from afternoon/morning pairings started behind the cut line.  The morning was tough, Wei-Ling Hsu went triple-double-double from holes 8-10 and said "That's it, I'm out" by the 11th 😂

What was a real problem for the morning besides the approaches and tee shots in the wind, if you are one of those who likes to die the putts into the hole your putts were being eaten up if you didn't put a solid stroke on it.

As expected, scores are lower today; it isn't a good development for Su Oh.  She needs a -5 (at least -4) to make the cut.

Looks like Muni will be booking travel to Q Series. +8 for the day, and 12 over for the tournament. Still a couple more chances to crack the top 100, but I wouldn't count on it.
