I doubt any putter has been imitated more than the W/S 8802. This business is full of copies. Never understood  why people have a death wish for a brand like they do this one. We need more choices in golf not less.

I would agree on that and Bulls Eyes until the Anser came out---- And to be completely candid the storied 8802 is a modified copy of a Macgregor Ironmaster.

Don’t count on it. Prepare to be shocked.  It’s joining the premium price lineup.

Limited release in November.  Full retail release in the spring.

Also saw the two Dynapower drivers.   They will be a spring release.

2 Dynapower drivers?

Yeah.  One for the “masses” that will have a bit of draw bias.  Then the tour version (not sure of it will be called tour) that is weighted a bit differently and I think he’s more carbon in it.   I was more looking at it versus listening to the rep 😬

Will be a hard sell at premium price? I’d like a new 8802 and I’d pay premium for one!

I feel like this is Wilsons only route. Get out of the premium driver market, because their driver releases in the 'premium' space are hot trash. Under no circumstances should they try and get into the premium putter market making ridiculously average clones. Drop the goofy baseball glove logo and stick to the W/S Crest logo.  Market premium irons and their 8802 putters because they'd actually get looked at and taken very seriously.

New putters are up on their website: https://www.wilson.com/en-us/golf/putters

The Anser shape is reaaaally nice. I wish the headweight specs were listed, though. I wouldn't spend $350 on these, probably, but it's nice to see another 100% milled option on the market.

I like it. With the exception of the 2Ball putter and the original anser everyone borrows from somewhere.. All I care about is how it rolls.

The 2 ball putter was actually borrowed from Dave Pelz 3 ball putter. It was deemed non conforming due to it being longer from front to back then side to side. Something like that my memory is a little fuzzy on the subject. 😁

Four new models, and they fixed the weights.

I don’t have a death wish for any company, but if you’re going to introduce something “new”, at least have some originality. I said clone because the milling is so close to the Odyssey that they can use their weights in the prototypes. Scotty copied the Ping, and while a matter of opinion, created premium putters that have been better received than most modern Ping Ansers themselves.

Ping then entered the driver market and made their heads a little heavier and added turbulators. Love them or hate them, they are original and became a major full club offering player in the industry. TM, Callaway  and Titleist are always innovative but Wilson writes the same old story each year.

The first iron set I ever purchased were Wilson 1200GE and they were awesome for their time. Fat shafts were pretty original too.

Its hard to be a premium player in any industry when all you do is copy and clone your competitors’ offerings.

I like lots of choices too, but I find it difficult to get excited for a new product that is almost identical to the original on the shelf.

I agree I’d like to see something new, especially after the tour gets all the fancies, especially putters. I’d love a blade or mid mallet with no sight alignment on it at all, I’m just not paying for a “Garage” Odyssey if you catch my drift.  🤣🤣…… Copying and cloning are everywhere, especially the putter dept these days. Look at irons, what once was old is new again. Is it better, most likely not. I love my pair 8802s but I can’t see the asking price for the upcoming one.😳
