I have no experience with them bug Flanigan Bilt Golf does cheome removal and refinishing.

I spoke with him but he's expensive. Wanted $20 per club. I found a shop that did 17 clubs for $72 shipped. 

 

$340 vs $72...

My only real disappointment was that the chrome went away pretty fast on on the PW-7 irons after a couple seasons.

I wanted these so much. I would drop by my local shop at least once a week and would somehow find myself hitting these and some Hogans. If I were any good they would have have wear marks on the face. I am surprised they didn’t ban me considering how much time i spent in the hitting bay.

who is the shop?  I have a set of 67 Nicklaus VIP’s and a set of 71 MT flat sole blades that need the raw treatment.

Fast forward a decade . . . Find a beat up set for $40 that I have stripped for $40 and then stumble into some NOS heads. Thankfully I was gainfully employed.

 

Fond of the wedges, blades and cavity backs. The diamonds that frame the face are my favourite aesthetic feature. Truly iconic.

Oughton's golf is a decently priced option for chrome stripping.

Still going strong all these years later. Had the maple leafs laser etched a little deeper a few years back.
