Miura TC201 vs T100 Comparison

Looking for comparison between the TC201 and T100. 

Like both of the irons but strangely ball speed is better with the Miuras and dispersion seems tighter and needless to say the feel is much better with the Miuras, ball seems to come off of the face faster as well.

Just wondering what others have experienced if you have used both.

I've only hit the TC201 in a fitting but I do own both current model T100 and MC501. I would expect that the primary reason for ball speed difference is that the TC201 are 2 degrees stronger loft from 8 iron on (I'm guessing you only hit a 7 or 6 iron in a fitting). The Miuras will have a heavier head weight but I doubt that would make much of a difference in ball speed, more about swing weight and impact feel/sound, as you noted. My T100 and MC501 set are same loft throughout and perform very similarly but noted more forgiveness in the T100 7 iron and longer. The TC201 might be more similarly forgiving as the T100 because of the weight pushed quite a bit to the perimeter.

 

Loft progression is the biggest difference between T100 and TC201, so consider your swing speed and potential gapping between PW-9-8. T100 are 4 degrees between and TC201 are 5 degrees between. Make sure to consider this. Otherwise buy the one you like best and want to hit! Both are great sets.

Thanks for the reply, I had the 201'S bent to the same lofts and lies as my T100.

You are right, they are both very good but the Miuras defiantly have a much better sound and feel!

I really cant tell much difference in forgiveness between the two.
