Recommend a new grip for me

I'm looking for a new type of putter grip to try and help with my terrible putting. A few things about me/my putting:

  • I've been bouncing back and forth between 2 face-balanced putters (a Spider X and a Sub 70 Sycamore 005 Wide Blade), though I do have a few other putters in time-out that are slightly toe hang
  • The Spider has the standard Superstroke pistol grip and the Sub 70 has a Flatso 2.0
  • I putt left-hand-low
  • I have trouble taking the putter back on path; my stroke tends to look like a figure 8 more than an arc and at times it looks like Zalatoris over a short one
  • My buddies say I'm more dangerous from 15 feet than from 3, if that's any indication
  • I'd like to try a grip from a company other than Superstroke or Golf Pride, but I'm open to anything from any company

Thanks for any suggestions!

I absolutely would recommend Garsen grips. The only grip I have tried that I feel like made a noticeable difference in my putting. Garsen Max and Quad Tour or both great. Ultimate is a little more traditional but solid as well.

Garsen or Rosemark. I'm a big fan of the Garsen grip, they're on most of my putters. I do have a Rosemark Neo grip on one of my putters and really enjoying that shape and feel.

I felt my stroke was much worse with the SuperStroke grip, probably just too big for my smaller hands but I felt like I had some of the same issues you speak on. My putting improved (or went back to normal) after reverting back to my trusty pistol grip - Odyssey’s White Hot Pro grip

It really just comes down to the size + style of grip that feels most comfortable in your hands. Everyones different. But as many have already mentioned, Garsen has been gaining popularity on Tour, i’ve never tried it, but that might be worth checking out

I really like the Lamkin Sinkfit. Have the Ping PP60 (which is made by Lamkin). Takes the wrists out of play, but is tackier than the Superstroke equivalents and better in hot conditions.

Iomic. They feel great after they’ve been used for a bit and get a kinda suede feel to them. Several wieghts the 65 in similar to a ping man lie tiger uses.  The 75 similar but tad bigger.    Great grips. I use them on pretty much everything.

Which pp60?  This one? https://www.golfworks.com/ping-pp60-putter-grip/p/pg0045/

Try a lighter putter with a smaller grip. I had the same issue and I’ve learned how to putt again. I lost all my feel with those fat grips and left a lot of putts short and right from distance and pulled the short ones.
I’m a legit 5 strokes/round improved this year vs last

This......

After wondering into the dual balance and heavy mallet world for a few years and making less putts it was back to a blade and light Iomic grip.

Probably not 5 strokes better for me but I rarely 3- putt these days from any distance.

Voting for the Garsen Quad Tour and would add that you could explore both the tapered and non-tapered versions for different feels.

For those of you recommending the Garsen quad, have you tried both the taper and non-tapered models? If so, which would you suggest trying for a slight arc stroke?

I love new equipment and experimenting with new things.  To be honest the grip is most likely not going to stop a bad stroke.  It might be best to get a lesson and then practice hard.  The putting stroke is hard to change, especially when the pressure is turned up.

I like the Lamkin putter grips, particularly the Sinkfit as well.  Also like the Flat Cat Tak grip.
