Transition thoughts?

I have struggled with this move for the past several years. I cannot find a feel to remove the hip jump-thrust (EE) to fix my impact.

That something you need to address right from the beginning to get your head around, because...



Watch your relationship to the red line behind you and notice how much you come towards the ball (and how Tiger doesn't). You start get getting your weight moving in incorrectly like this and it compounds in transition...



...where you kick towards the ball again while shifting your weight up to your toes. You can't help but get into trouble with your downswing with crowding, over the top path, and early extension because that is what these two problems have forced you into. You are what looks like 6-8" closer to the ball by the time you begin your downswing, and that change in spacial relationship means all sorts of downswing problems that lead to your loss of posture and tennis forehand style delivery into the ball.

This may partially because you appear to be setup too far away from the ball. I think your body is naturally balancing itself *out* of a position you have forced yourself into at address, but once your weight starts moving towards the ball it is REALLY hard to get it to stop since the force created by your upper body and the club in the downswing wants to pull you in that direction as well. Therefore getting yourself into a position where you can actively resist/counter that force is step one, but then learning how to actually do that is step two. Getting your head around the both idea that the drivers in your lower body always needs to be working away from the ball, and what those drivers are; your right hip in the backswing pushing back while your left hip stays very quiet, and your left hip in the downswing pushing back while your right hip stays very quiet. It's how someone like Tiger (and virtually all pros) gets into the positions we see above and its a learned movement that is counterintuitive to what comes naturally.

Right now you're doing what will happen to a vast majority of people when they let their body simply go with what feels intuitive in the golf swing, and what i've described above (and detailed further in the video below) is the unintuitive learned movements that you need to develop to make *good* golf swings. It will take time to get comfortable with as it's basically the opposite of what you're doing now, but it's worth the time.

Much appreciated! I can see it plain as day but wasn’t always clear on how to fix it. It seems I have the hip movement reversed. Backswing-the left hip seems to do the moving and the right hip does the transition.
