Moi matching (club distance consistency)

I’m likely taking my set in to get moi matched as something just seems off when I SW match my irons closer to my other clubs (d3-4 with lead tape, original was d0 but seemed to light, especially compared to my driver and woods).  My big question from all my reading, for those who did this (non single length) how did your distances compare to your SW matched set? Did you have to adjust any loft to fill the gaps better?

I haven't noticed any distance changes for before or after MOI matching.  I start at a D1 4 iron and have 3/8 inch increments and .5 sw points between clubs, getting me to a D4 PW.  I guess the possibility in my case would have been a decrease in distance with long irons because of cutting them down slightly, it's similar to cutting down a driver where your maximum distance may go down but nothing happens with the averages since your contact may improve.

thanks that makes sense. i am plenty fast enough (CAn pump out my 44.5" driver 300+ total when my swing is right) that i would likely benefit from the potential  better contact with an MOI matched set.
