100% agree.  Awful!!  Fixed what wasn't broken.

Can't even access training and I sell their products....too bad, as I was considering bagging some of their product this year

Have you setup your account on ExpertVoice? That's where the training moved to for this cycle.

This new lineup is amazing. I tend to pick it a bit off of the mats but these clubs are going directly in the bag.

zx4 4i first swing

the zx4 looks incredible for the type of iron that it is, absolutely stunned by what Srixon did this year.

these irons feel powerful and soft and solid at the same time. KBS tour lite is a perfect complement.

well done Srixon 👏

Currently playing the "old" ZX7.  Can you guys please stop saying good stuff about the new ones before I do something dumb?

Just do it. Took my irons to the range for a session tonight and I like the more than my T100s. Feels so good and looks better too with the symmetry.

You ever been told you're not the best influence?

I’ve been told I am very influential lol.

I will be echo others though and state they all came in 0.25” longer than my Titleist so I did have to bring them to my club builder to cut them down and regrip. I am 5’10” for reference and I play standard lies also.

I concur on the -1/4”. I got a combo zx5/zx7 Mkii and I had them whacked down -1/4”. Now they are exactly the same length as my T200’s (which were std). Also got 2* flat. These clubs are amazing.

Some feedback after multiple sessions of testing both the ZX7 and ZX5 MkII in comparison to the first gen (7 iron to 7 iron, same shaft, using my own ProV1x I brought in):

  • I carry my 7 iron around 170 on good strikes, and can push them to 175 if needed. I'm between an S and X in Modus 105 (my shaft of choice), but decided to stay with S for some energy saving near the end of the round.
  • The 7s are very similar to the first gen, maybe a touch softer feeling on middle strikes. Great looks behind the ball, similar framing of the ball to the first gen. I enjoyed hitting them a lot.
  • Launch, carry, spin numbers almost identical to the first gen 7s.
  • Now the 5s, I wasn't too keen on upgrading after I hit them back to back with my first gen (they sounded quite a bit louder than the first gen, even on middle strikes). They did perform great though, same numbers as my first gens.

I was about to pull the trigger, but would have felt guilty dropping almost $1700 CAD on them (5-PW) when mine gave similar numbers. They are getting beat up a bit and I'll likely replace them next fall. Maybe with the next gen Titleist or current Mizuno 223 or JPX combo, although both of those brands do not blend as seamlessly as Srixon, and I'm not thrilled on how small the T100 series have gotten (weird, I know).

They're great irons, so you cannot go wrong with them! Just wasn't quite worth it for me this year.

I have played he original ZX7's for  2 1/2 seasons since they came out and love them.  I experimented with the ZX5's, but found them too clicky and really didn't hit them any better.  Maybe off-center hits were alittle better, but I just didn't find them worth it.  I got a good deal off of eBay for a new set of ZX7 mkii irons, so I pulled the trigger.  I am getting them reshafted right now, then I will compare them to my originals.  From what I am reading, it sounds like the difference between the two is quite minor.

I didn't hit the 4U, but I tried the 3u against the zx4 4i and the zx4 was leaps and bounds better for me

I went with the set A wedge but I don’t get the 6 deg gapping for the 57 myself.

I guess it fits the 3 wedge play. Not too far removed from a PW, 52, 58 setup
