Same adapter….

Here are the trackman numbers from today,   Just going to post 3 pics, hit 20 shots with each of them and results we’re all within 3 ball speed. Blue line is the G430 the Red is 430 at The flat setting and the Orange pic is the 425 both LsT.(one with spin at 1669)

What I will tell you after testing the 430 after these results are the ball speed Dropped off big time on higher than center hits. Which does not work well for me since I like high toe Knuckle balls… You can see low spin from the 425(both were high toe/center strikes)

Wind today was straight left to right 15mph with 27gust… I’ll get more data later in the week when the weather is more ideal.

More on course testing today, some really good numbers off trackman today. Set TM up on 4 holes and hit shots with 3 different type of swings, tried to hit high center/low heel, and center punch!

Low Heel spin Jumped up to 2900

High center spin was at 1920

Center Punch spin was 2150

Launch was 11.7-12.9

Spin Loft 12.4-13.7

*shocked that off center shots Carried A LONG way for me, I’m a gear head and know my Specs. Only thing I can complain about is the Smash dropping too low on high strikes, I like high toe shots!

I have a  Ventus Red TR 6x coming in this week and I’ll try and get more testing done before the weekend…

Have you hit the TSR2 and, if so, how does it compare both center punch and high toe?

I am currently in Korea and bought a 430lst 9 degrees stiff kalil white shaft.  Being able to buy it tax free and not having to pay tax in the us made it about 130 bucks cheaper.

I hit it at a screen golf place here and it felt really good. I’ve had the g425 max and the stealth before and I think it’s better than both. The screen golf place shows spin and made me realize my swing was very high spin. Around 4500 even with the 430lst. I changed my swing to where I was getting 2000 range and my distance jumped up significantly.  Before the swing change I was hitting it pretty high and around 240-250m.  After swing change around 270-280m. It seems to be pretty forgiving. The head is definitely shorter. It sounded normal. It was indoors so I couldn’t really hear it over the thud of the ball striking the screen. But definitely did not have the loud sound of the g425max

i think ping is going to sell a lot of these. Usually when I get a new driver I have such high expectations and high hopes but then it doesn’t meet expectations. Although it’s only been at a screen golf place I really like it.

I also like the shaft. It didn’t feel boardy and seemed to have enough kick but still stable.

I currently game the 425 Max, and it has been great for me, but looking at posts, will definitely give the 430 a shot when it hits fitting carts.

My question is around the stock shafts. I have the Rogue White (S) in my 425. Anyone know which of the stock shafts for the 430 would be most comparable? I'm thinking one of the Ping Tour shafts or the Kai'li White? Thoughts? I am typically fit into one of the heavier shafts that brings spin down.

I also only hit it indoors with the Kai'li and felt the same.  Really nice head, and shaft combo.

First round today with the G430 MAX Paired with Tensei 1K 70 Pro White…….hit about 6 balls on range before playing, really liked the feel, sound and accuracy.  I have gamed Titleist almost exclusively for the last several years starting with the 915.   I have the TSR2, so not sure if this will kick out that driver, but I REALLY like the Ping.  Just tinkering and wanted to try this one, so we will see………I also have gamed the Titleist hybrids and then picked up a Ping G425 2 and 3 , so that is what really started my possible transition…….

Very keen to hear your ongoing feedback on the Titleist vs Ping.  I thought I was headed for a TSR2 until I hit the Ping.  Likely an after Xmas purchase.

Total tax was $48, free shipping, I admit I overpaid, but it was a year-end gift to myself…..bought on night of 11/24, arrived 11/29, pretty impressed with response and shipping……
