Big DK fan, but her behavior on the back nine yesterday was a little over the top. Playing on a familiar course, she obviously has high expectations.

Her post round interview was excellent, though. Curious how many private courses they visit slow down the greens vs what the members play.

I don’t get “slowing down the greens”. Would that be a decision made by the LPGA or the host course?  It doesn’t make sense either way.

Anyway, I hope Jodi can finish it off today!

I assume the LPGA makes the decision on green speeds.

Yealimi Noh stumbled again and missed another cut; fortunately she remains #74 and didn't lose any CME ranking.  Her putting has improved but GIR has dropped.

Next will be a no-cut event in Korea but it doesn't give Yealimi any advantages because all her close competitors are in the field.  It's time to either put up or shut up!

Congrats to Jodi. Sweet Tweet posted by her husband, Adam. Was hoping he was actually in the audience today but guess he's busy. I seriously thought that once Reto tied for the lead, her movements/gait quickened a bit. Not good down the stretch; cost her quite a bit of $$.

AND, a Paula Creamer siting! Shot a 66 today.

Since Matilda couldn't event make the cut this week, I'm happy to have another Finn to root for next season: Kiira Riihijarvi finished 4th on the Epson Tour. Sisu!!🇫🇮 It's interesting to note that the 3 Euros in the Epson top 10 are all Scandinavian. 🇫🇮🇸🇪🇳🇴

They've said they do it in this instance to speed up play and to get everyone  in before dark.

Congrats to Jodi, long time coming. This was the sixth win this year by a player over the age of 30. Only 5 winners under the age of 25. Looks like experience has outshined youth this year.

Nice to see Yuka and Sei Young get the ball rolling.

Yes, her putting has let her down for sometime. Hopefully she can build up her confidence now. They make ‘em tough down in North Yorks.

Congrats to Jodi, but I think she was gifted this one. A one under final round usually isn't going to get it done, but her putter held up, and a few mistakes by Paula sealed the deal. It's been nice seeing the long timers finally get their first wins.

Where has Yuka been all year? She hasn't had a top 10 since Gainbridge in January, and has missed seven cuts since then.

I didn't think Georgia could miss, but strangely she pars the par 5 18th. Solid week.

Danielle is a blast to watch. Most of the time. Lol. She really seems to be enjoying her "rebirth" out there.

Andrea is having quite the season. She probably needs to pick up a few yards off the tee, though. She averaged less than 250 yds this week. Jodi is no long hitter, but she averaged nearly 20 yds longer.

Ho hum, another top 10 for Atthaya. Quite the rookie season.

Lucy continues to impress. Another decent finish after Monday qualifying.

It's like the opposite..

Sophmore jinx . . . don't know why, but it seems real for many players across all sorts of sports.  Also perhaps a period of adjustment as prior to taking membership, she only competed with the LPGA players on a select basis at major championships.   This season  was her first full season playing on the LPGA and even though she played on  the JLPGA, it still takes time to get comfortable.

Why do you think that is?  Hardy viking stock? or more seriously, the long summers that allow for plenty of time to work on their game and develop their skills?

There appears to be much more focus on golf in these countries over the past couple of decades with great initiatives with improved coaching/more coaches, etc.   I suppose all of these initiatives would have helped grow the number of elite players.   @MagicClassic407 - I apologize for a more serious question on a Monday morning!  🙂

I’ve worked in Scandinavia for many summers and I would say that compared with the U.K. at least, there’s probably much more interest in sport amongst younger women and some amazing facilities. It’s great to see.

E.G. Tromso, Norway, is built around, over and under a mountain which is tunnelled out with blast proof doors. Inside are amazing sports’ facilities.

While it's hard to believe in the sophomore jinx, you are right it does seem real for a lot of players. Yuka played 13 events last year and seemed very comfortable racking up 6 top tens, 5 of those were top 5's.

Is it possible we all have been duped by the successful 2021 year?

Personally, I don't believe that's the case. Hope she doesn't keep slipping  into the "No Work on Weekends" group.

possible to attribute some of Scandinavian Golf interest to Annika / Henrik et al?

eg Annika Foundation/ series of junior tournaments?

I am a bit displeased at the temper tantrums from Daniel on the GC coverage tonight.  There's a lot of young girls that follow her along the ropes.  I understand she's having a bad round but that isn't how role models are supposed to act.

She's by no means a role model. a glimpse of her spoiled brat true character.

But yes, I can hear Wagner playing in the background1  🙂
