New Scotty Cameron Monoblok

Just picked up a new 6.5 Monoblok but still deciding if I want to game it. Any one play with one yet, feel any difference from the Phantom models?

I was hoping someone would say how much for hang it has. The Flowback 5.5 had a lot and I wonder if this is the same way.

Maybe i’m wrong but I was under the impression that they’re the exact same putter besides for some of the stamping/graphics

It’s not a flowback 5.5, it’s a new shape that’s more like an old GOLO.

You might have better luck posting your question in there since several people have commented in it about purchasing one.

To be honest, it's my least favorite of my 3 mid mallets with a jet neck (Hence why I have it listed on the BST).  The Special Select Flowback 5.5 and Champions Choice Flowback 5.5 are dramatically better for me.  I believe it has to do with how I feel the weighting; the MonoBlok feels very "dense." However, aesthetically the Monoblok 6.5 combines the best of the Golo and Flowback 5.5 head. I just can't ignore the putting stats between all three.

The Monoblok 6.5 that I’ve been trying hits the same as my Phantom X 5.5. Weight and balance are.. v similar. Backswing feels great (identical to eye and hands), and line is true. I’m glad I can switch to a new design and putt the same.

I see a lot of people complaining about the Super line and the marketing, but one thing Scotty said has stuck with me: some people like the putter head to “melt away into the ground.” That matches the two putters I mentioned and is a detail I’ll keep in mind as it seems to match.
