On paper it looks like a long course. We'll see how they set it up, though.

Defending champion Jin Young is on the entry list, so we'll see how her injury is healing.

Looks like a fairly strong field. Nelly and Lexi are sitting out.

NYC!!  It's her final LPGA start!  I'm hoping the SBS YT channel is going to have coverage of her final pro start at the SK Telecom Championship (KLPGA).

The original schedule had four events in Asia in four weeks. With the cancelation of the Buick last week, and the Swinging Skirts next week, it appears that the BMW and Toto are going to have weaker fields than normal. For most players it would be financially viable to make the month long trip. However, with an off week between the BMW and Toto, are there going to be many players entered in both?

Maybe with a week in Palau (or some such) in between???

Picks for the week....

Favorites would be Lydia, Hannah Green, and Minjee.

Outside is Patty T.  Length comes into play here despite playing poorly all year.

Extreme Dark Horse is Sophia Shubert.  Grew up in East Tennessee playing on sloping fairways at elevation.  This course has a similar strategy to Evian les Bains.

Lydia will be challenged by the length but you can never count her out.  Hannah can handle the length.  Minjee plays well on courses like this.

This is an RTJ design so expect very few level lies and very large greens with a premium based on shot location over raw power.

Wouldn't be shocked to see a KLPGA player pick up the win.

Oh veh. So most of us will record the late coverage, and wind up watching it the next day after the following round is already completed? The LPGA sure can be a buzz kill at times.

Lol. Wait, am I seeing things? Didn't catch the 19th date, so they're actually moving up the coverage, even though it's still too late in the evening to watch it live.

With the shift across the IDL, 11 pm EST Wednesday would be Noon Thursday in South Korea.  That would be a live coverage window.

2 weeks before Suzuka (F1),  last week Zozo... this week, choose whatever Korean and time zone you want... South Korea and South CAROLINA... i've set my (body, not VCR) clock 12 hrs ahead for the month, I'm ready for you Toto! 😈...

I'd say JYK come back with a bang... (She's "sandbagging" us lately, esp with so few vlogs and her accompanying moments that lend me to ask: "why do you keep eating at waffle house and using your own honey"?)  And since Shibuno is complaining about the cold here, it'll be tough for her to win, quick weekend escape for her to Okayama after 2 days 😈

It's no cut and it's short:

is SoYeon Ryu a late withdrawal? I was checking to see if she was in the Field Listing (then remembered that tweet photos get truncated when posted to this GolfWRX forum ie the bottom 3 lines of each column in the Listing = not visible unless you click on the tweet!)

..edit: Belatedly realised SYR = wasn’t missing from today’s leaderboard... i missed seeing SYR’s name because I wasn’t used to seeing her name at the TOP of Leaderboard!

    • In-hand photos of 2023 TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus, Stealth 2, Stealth 2 HD drivers + fairways woods
Check out our front page launch stories here and here.

What you need to know: For the first time, carbon is the most prevalent material by volume in a TaylorMade driver, and more carbon equals better performance, says the company. Last year, TaylorMade debuted a 60X Carbon Twist Face. With TaylorMade Stealth 2, engineers are bringing carbon to more of the golf club — and unveiling a new-and-improved Carbon Twist Face in the process. Stealth 2 Plus (low spin, most workable) Stealth 2, and Stealth 2 HD (draw bias, high launch, most forgiving) drivers make up the Stealth 2 family.

      Stealth 2 HD

What you need to know: Breakthrough movable weight technologies and versatile designs are the hallmarks of the 2023 TaylorMade Stealth 2 fairway woods. Stealth 2 Plus is branded as “three fairway woods in one” owing to the unique performance characteristics afforded by the 50-gram sole weight. Stealth 2 features a slightly lower profile 3D carbon crown than Stealth. This moves CG down and away from the toe with more weight in the rear of the club for higher launch and MOI. Ultra-high MOI Stealth 2 HD features an oversized 200cc head and low-profile sole, creating an easy-to-hit, draw-biased club.
