This is where tour issue heads come in handy, get one with an open face angle and you can adjust it up to where you need it. Besides the fact they have the 14.5 on tour. My Mav Max head is spec'd at like ~14* with a way open face angle so cranked up to +2 on the callaway hosel it still sits slightly open and a nice flight around 16*

Yeah that’s fair, 2* closed is not optimal in my opinion

I am right eye dominant so everything looks closed. The tsr fairways look more open to me that the tsi fairways. The tsr3 driver w actually looks slightly more closed than the tsi3. But.. it frames the ball nicely and I like it because it actually makes me feel like I have to try less hard to draw and launch the ball. But the fairways seem to set up perfectly. I have some tmade stealth tour issue fairways and the Titleist fairways off the website seem to set up better for me.

The 14.5 head needs to come to retail.  I have to play a high launch shaft in order to get the right trajectory at A1 when I prefer more of an open look with the 3 metal.

 

Zalatoris also has a 14.5... thats at least 3 tour players who lofted up

I realized a while ago that being big and strong is no guarantee or requirement for high club head speed. Case in point. The number of guys out there with noodles for arms that look like they couldn’t bench press 135 lbs 1x that average 300+.

I actually haven't seen a single one at 13º in a staffers bag. I can't bring myself to get annoyed at some far away corporation for doing/not doing something so trivial. But I will say that Titleist kinda sucks for not bringing this 14.5º to retail. I would have bought one at my launch fitting (instead of waiting and happening to find the freebie 15º TSR2 that's in the bag now.)
