Could this be the beginning of the end for JYK's reign...she looks so despondent playing.  Feel for her as I have played with a bad wrist before...graphite shafts saved me, thank god.  

 

Also, what about Patty T...will she slide in?

JYKs downward spiral is reminiscent of Sung Hyun Parks descent into oblivion. Injuries and the mental aspect of feeling vulnerable are not a good combo. Hope she turns it around, although I would be hard pressed to be confident she can ascend the highest of highs as she did last year.

Nelly versus Lexi is no contest. 

Statistically speaking from this tournament, they had very close numbers. Nelly's driving was outstanding 41/42 fairways, that's insane. Had that been 37 of 42 the outcome may have been different. It looked like a good fair contest to me, just like last year.

Another one in the American hype machine bites the dust. 

 

First off, she never was all that. You guys just wanted her to be all that. Honestly, I think she has the potential to be close to "all that". In my opinion she jumped the gun after some amateur wins, thinking she was ready for big girl golf (like so many others) and found out she wasn't. No big deal, she needs time.

 

Nothing wrong with being a fan of Yealimi, just do yourself a favor and don't let it become an obsession like some folks, it's borderline disturbing.

But didn't feel like it watching.

 

Nelly on form exudes superiority. Lexi battled strongly, but it felt like a gulf between them. Perhaps I felt that because I wanted Lexi to win. But I never thought she would.

I can understand this. For me personally, after so many blown wins, I almost expect it from Lexi now. That's not a good feeling.
