I guess he was in the instruction forum and read somebody’s advice about using an old two iron on the range to groove your swing if you’re having problems. We’ll see if it works this weekend. Lol.

He has a very healthy bank account, a lovely wife and family and does some fantastic charitable work. A limited schedule will suit his needs before he becomes RC captain.

As for the blades, anybody else see some X-300 FCI vibes but in a more compact head in there?  I know he was a fan and the offset and slightly rounded and big-ish toe so the blade length feels abit longer like the X-300s seems familiar. Pretty sure Miura made the X-300's for TM too.

 

Nice to see another set of custom irons after AS with a touch of offset in there too, the no offset trend seems to have gone way too far for me, it is functional after all.

Love the Ben Hogan Apex Plus 2 iron! I played Apex Plus's from around 2001 (bought them new) to 2006 (replaced them with Ping i5s). I still have them, but can no longer come close to hitting them, LOL.

Surprised to see a hi-toe 52* in his bag. I am sure he knows his equipment but I (as a non-tour player and overall moron) see the need for a hi-toe gap wedge. SW and LW yes but is he laying the gap wedge open as well?

OK, custom Miuras aside which pretty much everyone on WRX would do very, very bad things to have, most of the masses would laugh off this bag as full of obsolete or boring stuff that isn't good enough. This isn't the set of clubs I'd choose to play, but boy oh boy do I like it.
