1KPB will be a little firmer in the tip section, about the same in the mid section and a little firmer in the handle. TB in theory should launch a tick or two higher and spin just a little more but that's pretty dependent on shaft delivery.

Thanks.  Would it be closer to the GT in feel and launch/spin?

Sort of in between. Pretty darn similar in the tip, 1KPB will be a hair firmer in the midsection and GT is about as firm as we get in the handle. 1KPB is still firm in the handle, but GT takes it up a notch.

Sounds like it's the tweener between the GT and TB then.  If so, that would be awesome.  I have the TB in driver and GT in 3 metal and I've got no complaints here so far.  However, I'm really stoked about the 1K TPB.

I'm pretty sure it will be.  It will probably have the 1K weave, MR70 and boron.

I'd say within the next couple months.  According to one of my clients/buddy on the Mackenzie Tour, there are tour issue prototypes on the PGA Tour being tested right now.

Hold off on the fitting.  I just got word from @MITSUBISHI CHEMICALthat the 1K TPB is producing faster ball speeds for the guys on tour that have been testing it.  Currently gaming the GT but I'm picking up the 1K TPB when it's released.

I have the GT in driver and 3 metal as well.  Loving it, but I'm always tinkering with driver.  It should arrive later today, but I won't have time to test it until Monday.  How's the CQ working for you?

The CQ has been just as great as the GT. Very happy with both. Flight and spin look similar to the GT.

X Link Blue is already a good shaft and so I’m certain the 1K is going to be something. I’m loving my X Link 75 in my fairway woods. Can’t miss with these things.

I’m a fan. I had the AV Raw 75 in my Sim 2 fairway and loved it. This is right up that alley.
