The Launcher Steel Offset fairway woods share many of the benefi ts of the regular Launcher Steel fairway woods with the added advantage of offset technology. This difference allows golfers who may ordinarily hit a fade or slice to keep the club’s face square through impact. The clubface is made from Carpenter Custom 455® stainless steel which is more technologically advanced than the steels used in most metal woods today. By combining the offset technology with the advanced materials and Thin Crown Technology, Cleveland Golf designers have created a set of fairway woods that will help straighten wayward shots and send them further down the fairway.

I just traded in my TM R7St 3 and 5 woods for a non-offset Launcher Steel 4 wood. I compared this 4 wood to the Cally X 4 and original Nike SQ steel 4 wood... The Launcher Steel, to me, had the best feel, giving both feedback in terms of where you hit it, and a more satisfying "pow" feeling when you did nut one... I will be junking the 65g stock S flex in favor of an 80g or so Fuji Vista Pro S flex... I need the heavier weight shafts or I'm all over the place ;)

I tried this club in a used version one time at an Edwin Watts and carried it 240-245 off the mat. I immediately knew it was a winner, and then I recently bought one new on eBay and took it to the course really for the first time on Sunday. I was elated with the results: it produced a mid ball flight and with a smooth swing nearly went 270. I only hit my driver on average about 275 so this was something..

The best fairway wood I've hit. The past 3 1/2 years I've bought and traded in 25 different models of fairways. I was about to give up and settle with the '07 Burner woods (nice but too big with a noticeably closed face) then I landed on the Launcher '06 by chance. I found a great deal on ebay ($50 new plus shipping) and bought two. The head size is small with a classic appearance. The weight is perfect, not too light like my '07 burners and not head heavy like my previous Ping G10 and G5s. The balance is ideal-- this club feels like an extension of my hands. Very hot face and easy to hit, despite its small shape. Insignificant complaints are: the paint chips easily and the lengths were off with my particular woods. High quality and appealing headcover. They are inexpensive but becoming harder to find.

Just bought this club in a 19 degree. I got the regular flex, blue ProLaunch, Grafalloy, 65. Shaft seems to play more stiff that regular which is okay with me. Excellent fairway wood and you can get the 2006 for a steal right now.
