Sand Valley tee times for off-property guests

We are planning a trip to Sand Valley in September 2023 and are on the waitlist for lodging. Just two of us, so I’m hoping something opens up. Really want to stay on property in the hopes of playing the Lido.

 

Can anyone provide their experience booking tee times as an off-property guest? Should we only expect to get afternoon tee times?

No, you can get both morning and afternoon tee times staying off site.  The Inn Of The Pines is a dumpy motel 15 minutes South of SV.  There are some chain hotels in Wisconsin Rapids 30 minutes north. Inn of Pines, is fine. It serves the purpose.  

 

No one knows what the access to the Lido will be.  I was there 10/1-10/2, and everyone I talked to said they have no idea what the how it will work.   

 

I live in Chicago and go up 1-2 times a year.  Until this year, I could almost always get on site accommodation off the waiting list or last minute.  As SV's popularity grows, this is becoming harder.  Have fun.

Played SV and MD this summer with one night at the resort. Planned on bugging out after the round at Sand Valley the day my reservation ran out, but there was a biblical rainstorm that kept me in the area scrambling for a spot to stay. Ended up at the Lodges of the Lakes and it was perfectly fine.

 

Regarding Lido, I heard it was going to be private and accessible only to people that own property there and special guests, but I'm hoping that was bum information.

 

Either way, it's a massively special place that's worth crashing anywhere where you can to experience it all.

Does anyone know if SV does same day replay rates?

Same rates similar to Bandon: 1st round full price, 2nd round half price and anything after that is free.
