I'm digging the look so far but am still waiting to hear what's different overall from the current LTDx LS.  On the outside, not much looks changed other than the milled face has gone away and of course the shape of the weights is different.

I love the look of that driver. Love my LTD LS but this is probably replacing it.

Based on Bryson's comments in the interview he did with Rick Shields a while back I am guessing the story will center around consistent performance across the face. Bryson certainly let on that performance on off-center hits was an issue for him and he was super excited about the next release. 

 

Possibly some new face technology for them that allows for more forgiveness while maintaining ball speed etc. I am guessing the milled face wasn't allowing them to accomplish what they were after. 

 

Who knows though.

I've always hated rails, with the fact that they raise the face from a normal fairway lie

Really like the look of the driver. If it’s got the performance of the Ltd I’d be interested in testing it against my og Sim Max.

driver has more of a cup face this year.  It is more durable and they can control the face thickness better than welding on the face then milling.

I like the driver a lot. Without the nub nub hanging down in the back like the LTDX and my Sim 2, I won't be scaring it all up like I do my current ones when I hit up on it. 

 

The woods, I can't imagine a big benefit there. The F9's, my Rad speeds and my LTDX all go a long distance and stop well. Whatever else do you need a fairway wood to do?

Cobra does such a nice job on their woods.  Always love their shapes and they seem to make nice advancements year over year.  I’ll be intrigued to see a performance difference.  Bryson is right on the forgiveness across the face.  Every time I test their drivers they seem to fall a little behind with forgiveness across the face.  Center contact its a monster though.  Some of the best looking fairways.

Ditto this.  I've had the F7 fairway in the bag for years.  Very disappointed they went away from the rails...

The little label that says 192.4 would suggest that its actually just a really light head, unless that is an "unfinished" weight.

I would guess it’s the weight without the adapter.
