bluetee range finder

So i bought a bluetee range finder a while back and lately i have notice yardages have been off because ill shoot the flag and get a number then another person would use a bushnell and get a different number.. anyone have experience with this issue if you have a bluetee range finder?

I have one that is year old...and yeah I got a deal. However, it's a pain in my arse...to use and fool with.  I'm replacing it asap...so does not surprise me anyone else would have issues. Buy a bushnell call it a day.

My group has different models across the board and we'll be nerdy and shoot them all to see what we get.  It's pretty rare that anybody ends up with the same number, even the two busnells in our group are off with each other, but they're all within 2-3 yards.  My blue tees is included in that mix.  If yours is way off I would for sure reach out to BT about it.

Came here to say basically this. All of the measuring devices have a variance between one another; operator error comes into play too. My BT has been pretty bang on since I got it within 1-2 yards of more expensive (read: Bushnell Pro XE) devices.

I've always wondered if users height plays a part in this as well, the guys in our group that rotate in and out range from 6'5" down to 5'8".  Beyond what you mentioned that probably accounts for something as well.

That's a good call, I'm on the taller end of that spectrum you mentioned

I have a BT and yes it can be tricky, you have to make sure it's not Picking up trees behind the pin or picking up something else. If have to hold it pretty steady on the flag, But this goes for most rangefinders.
