It appears no one has hit these yet? strange no love or hate for the new sticks. I am not impressed with the shaft choices, no 100 gram graphite offering as stock or for that matter a decent steel shaft at or over 100 gr.

At $200 a stick seems like a no brainer to offer something at 100 gr. I was curious about them and already blind ordered new woods, but it looks like the EPON's are safe for the time being.

Had a Callaway demo day at my Club this Saturday.

It was chilly and windy in S. Fla on Saturday morning.
52* with 18-22 mph winds. On the range it was a head wind and the flight was amazing considering the head wind.
Shafts felt great. Alway play graphites due to back and elbow injuries.

I was also taken back by the stock HZRDUS shaft.
Tried the Tensei Blue and Recoils, but had a better feel and performance/numbers with the PX Hzrdus's.
Less spin, touch higher flight, felt better and broke through the head winds.

These irons are long and really, I mean really easy to hit.
The 5 iron was just as easy to hit as a 9 iron.
Really taken back by the performance of these irons.
Went with 5 to AW in the PX Hzrdus.

The driver, thats for another thread and story. All I can say is my LTDx with the Riptide MX isnt moving for now.
Hope this feedback helps those considering these irons.

I ordered a set with MMT 95

6-AW,it’s going to be my 5-Pw.

Forget the # on the bottom,

distances work out-plus because it’s closer to Trad loft AW=47*.
Goes high & far with only slightly less spin

I demo'd a bunch of irons today and these were the last I hit and by far the biggest surprise.  I really don't like the looks of the filled cavity, don't love the colorway and hate the name, but they looked good at address and damn they felt good.  Not super soft but solid and repeatable.  Hit the ball mostly dead straight with the stock Elevate shafts.  Don't love the price tag either but I will definitely be hitting these again and they're a contender for the bag this year.  Don't judge a book by it's cover.

Just came back from the Paradym demo day at GG. At the end I hit the irons for a a laugh. Absolutely silly numbers.

my 7i ball speed is 118mph (PXG 0317ST).

Paradym… 139 😂😂😂

Denver, Colorado. So obviously flies but was getting 5300 spin and 230 carry.

need to find a 4 iron to replace my 3 wood? 😂

Saw these in person and liked them a lot more than I thought I would.  DIdn't get a chance to hit them, but it sounds like they are rocket launchers.  Don't think I would drop the money on them, as much as I liked the look, it seems like something that isn't going to age well.

Held the Paradym and GBB irons today in hand while taking a break from a putter fitting, I have to say the GBB in hand is not a bad looking club. Top line is thick but the sole is pretty reasonable.

The Paradym while not bad looking did not inspire me to want to hit it and for the price I am still not impressed with the shaft offerings. I may go back for a iron fitting as they are brand agnostic and I cannot help but be curious about the i230 and I would definitely try the GBB for giggles.

The wait for the APEX release is going to be tough with the whole summer of potential new clubs floating around.

Weren’t you playing or maybe still are playing the Rogue ST Pros? Was talking to a fitter and Callaway staffer at GG who has those in the bag with the Tensei White 85g shafts and he is sticking with them this year. He previously played the Mav Pro irons but says the Rogue ST Pros are better and his favorite set ever.

I played them most of last year, just liked the EPONs better all around.

Its kind of odd as I normally try the new release irons no matter what. This time I guess either I am just happy playing what I have or the lack of positive feedback from others has me just sitting on the fence.

I can survive until the new APEX or whatever comes out later on or something else gets interesting enough for a fitting.

I have had the Paradym X for about two weeks, but weather has limited me to one 18 hole 2 man scramble and one 9 hole round.   I will say this, they wer egood enough for me to sell my JPX923 Hot Metal and will be listing my T200's.,

I love everything about them.   Easy to hit, long and feel great.  Pretty much check all the boxes.

Wow, I guess it is the luck of the draw with the finishes. I put at least 50 rounds on mine on sandy Florida goat tracks and they looked nearly as good as new minus some face scratches which are normal. (you know that sweet spot scratching the size of a egg shaped half dollar 🙃)

So good to hear this as I ordered a set last week. I'm usually playing irons over my head, but not this year. I'm reaching out for help to see how many shots I'm giving up. No ego clubs this year.

As a 4 handicap, I think you're going to be lethal with these, and probbly see a drop of a stroke or two.   After I was fit a good friend who is a 8 and was playing Mizuno also ordered a set as well.  Just go this last week.  Looking forward to the next time we both get out with them!

Asst pro at my club is a Callaway Staffer and he reckons there may be new Apex irons in pros bags by The Open Championship with a September release. He’s had no sight of any images etc but just his thoughts having played Callaway all his life. He seems to think something is going on with Callaway (component shortage maybe) as he was waiting for a new set of TCB’s for months and was then told they are no longer fulfilling orders of them (in the UK). Not sure if anyone has heard anything over there in the U.S?

I haven't seen a set in anyone's bag at our club yet. Considering how hard our pro pushes Callaway, that's awfully surprising.

Seems like PXG is the trend now. Especially with the guys around 55 & up.

A lot of people have demoed them at our course.  But most have gone with Mizuno Hot Metal or G430 this year.

Price has been the overwhelming reason.  When we quote $1500 plus for a set that usually is a no go for most.

But they are great performing irons.

I ended up going with G430’s as I had concerns on the finish holding up.
