Sudden loss of speed, swing video included

Hi,

 

After a family vacation where I had no chance to swing a club I lost approximately 12 mph CHS …

I have a feeling I lost my sequence and I have 0 ground reaction forces.

Before I felt the club was very heavy and I tired out my left leg when hitting a lot at the driving range, the harder I pushed with my left leg the faster I got and the flatter my swing bottom was. 
Now I can hit 100 balls no problem but also no speed. 
 

Any advice is welcome.

There are 2 wrists, would suggest you use them, and sooner than later.

No wrist set and WAY too far from the inside from too much hip slide.  This is not something a quick fix tip is going to solve.  You have to completely change the way your hips move in the backswing and transition and sequence your arms better.

Could you please elaborate how my hip slide causes the in to out path.

Does it “virtually” place the ball back in my stance at impact?

The slide makes your hips thrust toward the ball, makes your arms trail and shifts path way right.

 

You need to address backswing hip motion first.

Club looks very much up through the left palm to me. That’s going to make it tough to feel like you can hinge that wrist.

Stop locking your elbows at address, you look way too tense. Get an Izzo SmoothSwing or Callaway SwingEasy just above your elbows, they're 10 bucks and will get you to relax your arms at address and still be straight.

Ball is too far back, move it one ball forward from where it was. You need to reverse your head and hip movement in the backswing, head moves away from target while right hip moves towards target, it's just a drill and feeling.

 

It is possible to have no lateral head movement whatsoever and still move your right hip toward the target in your backswing, that is still optimal. Need more wrist hinging at the top between club and left forearm and less casting in the downswing.

Just do the opposite and you will be in good shape!
