Am I missing something or is Streamsong 100% booked through like the middle of Mar-23? 

 

Also why does no one pick up a phone there or call back? Am I doing something wrong?

It is entirely possible that they are booked through that time frame.  In my experience it is tough to get someone on the phone there.  I normally go to the Contact Us page on their website and have had success connecting with an employee.

I just called and got a callback no problem. One thing now is you have to stay on site in order to play. No outside play allowed.

That’s only during the season. Summer should still allow outside play.

I organize an annual spring trip for a large group and this year we're going to Streamsong. Our trip last visited Streamsong in 2015 and between we visited Sea Island, Kiawah multiple times and Scottsdale. Planning our 2023 trip started in July 2022 (for April 2023) and was torture. The worst experience I've ever had, and this is a resort which should make it easier not harder. I spoke to no less than 6 people to book the trip then another person to book tee times. From the time I said I am ready to book and pay any deposit it literally took 7 weeks before it was actually done with confirmation and tee times. During that 7 weeks tee times started to fill up so now we are forced to have other groups between our 5 foursomes. Total disaster. Yes, when I called I experienced the same thing it just rings and rings forever. The other thing was talking to the same person more than once was impossible. I think I was told they either have new ownership or a new management group and a lot is changing. For them, I hope that is true. Scheduling large groups should be seamless and quick with 1 or 2 contacts. Kiawah plans your entire trip with one contact including the rental homes and once the details are finalized you are then moved to someones else. When setting up the trip they tell you the tee times on the spot and don't force you to talk to someone else several days later. Streamsong is a total cluster. For the first time ever I am legitimately concerned when we arrive if we will actually have tee times or not. Good luck finding the reservation part of their website too.

I live in Florida and have been to streamsong 3 times and have tried to book a fourth trip and it’s so difficult that I have given up twice. I booked a trip to Bandon in 30 minutes not counting hold time, I have spent several times that and no booking.

I booked a trip for 4 guys in June of this year. It took forever but I dealt with one person, but that took forever to get to this one person. I have the tee time confirmations and room bookings. But I too am also concerned when we arrive. It was just very difficult for the whole process. Didn’t think it should be this way.

They need a serious overhaul in the booking department.  Booking 2 rooms and a foursome was a nightmare... They have to lose a decent amount of business just because they make it so hard to book.
