Thoughts from those who moved from LAB DF2.1 to MEZZ.1 MAX

I'm curious what the experience has been like for folks that have moved from the DF2.1 to the MEZZ.1 MAX. How does the stability compare? Which is better on long lag putts? Feel?

I’ve gone backwards - from Mezz Max to DF. The DF is way more stable and forgiving.

Do you find distance control comparable between the two. I’m leaning towards getting the df but if the maxx is as stable and functional it’s a much more palatable look.

DF is better for distance control because it matters less where you hit the ball on the club face than the Max. I sometimes stare at the hole when I putt and I've hit some ball off the heal and toe of the DF and distance control is still in the ball park. Max is good with distance control but not as good as DF.

I am a DF gamer but I think you can search and find the collective truth is the DF2.1 is the best (looks ignored) I have to say that the first time I saw a DF I thought it was the ugliest putter I had ever seen. Now that I am gaming it I love the way it looks standing over it because I have so much confidence in my putting.

My experience exactly. Bought the MEZZ.1 MAX and loved…then tried the DF and it was better in every way except looks. Same specs, same Accra shaft. That being said if the DF didn’t exist would play MEZZ Max in a heartbeat.
