Yeah, Callaway have used the forged carbon for years I believe starting with the Diablo range? I think its more like pressing carbon bits into a shape rather than layering a weave.

Very slick. My only knock is the ceramic TM-like alignment on the crown. I actually prefer w/o

Huh, interesting. Is some of the sole composite?

Face reminds me of recent Titleists. Top reminds of a blue Taylormade. And the little gray part in the back of the crown reminds me of a design flourish popular around 8-10 years ago...Cobra AMP Cell and TM SLDR had a visual like that.

I think the Rogue ST looked better. Though I thought that only looked okay until I saw it in person and thought it was gorgeous. Curious to see how this looks in hand, but my first impression is that I don't love the changes they've made to their recent aesthetic

I agree. Don’t particularly care for the look. I  haven’t gotten along with recent Callaway drivers though.

I've never been a huge fan of Callaway clubs (more so because of looks than performance), but loved the look, feel, and performance of the Rogue ST Max LS when I hit my friend's this summer. So much so that I have been waiting for Callaway's next carbon release so I can finally replace my Ping G LST.  If it is blue like this on the crown at release, that's an absolute deal breaker for me. The sole is pretty cool, but I'm not a fan of the multicolor trend because it's distracting at address. I'm praying they have something similar to the Rogue's matte black finish available.

The best driver I’ve had prior to TSR2 was Epic Speed TD. This driver gives me the sorta vibe that the best from Epic Speed and Rogue ST were meld together in the driver. With carbon everywhere the weight saving is going to be pretty considerable. Makes me what to hear the tech story even more!

One the guys in my big Sunday group is a Cally rep and he actually had a couple heads as soon as he was back from the product meetings out in Carlsbad whenever that was (wanna say about 3-4 weeks ago).  He had the standard head the first time we played together and has had the triple diamond the last couple times.  Naturally I hit both and did so right up against my TSr2.  The look is interesting....definitely a blue/black swirl design on the sole.  Looks good from above, assuming you're good with a blue/gray contrast.  As someone else had said it's definitely pretty muted, even the standard.  Not sure if the X is any different, he hasn't had one of those out with him.  I can't speak much to performance since I just hit each one once and just for fun.  Oddly enough I hit the trip diamond better which I definitely would not fit into, however it was likely just a better swing.

I'll be curious to see how this line is perceived.  Although (and to his dismay) I don't game Callaway woods, I do think the Rogue ST line looked fantastic.  I don't feel the same about the Paradym, but if it performs then I think the cosmetics will be secondary.

Callaway pretty much has controlled my woods the last few years but this one I'm not sure about. Going to wait and see how it looks in person and how noticeable the blue crown is. Same for the fairways.

I like it at 1st look, but it will have to be better than the Rogue TD / Tour UB combo and that will be tough to beat. I don't ask all that much out of a Driver with my SS, but if I got a bit more of anything I would have to put it into the bag.

Not keen at all on the colours, so I looked up the guy at Callaway who made the club and perused his car collection on his Instagram page.

It's just a marketing term that's caught on in order to differentiate this composite from what folks usually picture for CF. It's non-oriented bits of CF randomly thrown in the epoxy. This is in contrast to the crown of the driver which is oriented/woven sheet.

Interesting. The G LST has blue trimmings, I know, I had the driver head myself years ago and it was one of their best heads so makes sense to keep it this long. However, I think the Rogue ST line has it well & thoroughly beat though, at least for my swing. May be the G430 may be the go for you...

The Ping G LST has grey lettering on the crown, but no blue, which wouldn't bother me either. I actually think the sole is pretty slick. What bothers me is the entire head being a pretty bright blue (I might be able to get used to a dark navy) except for the dramatic transition into that white line and grey matte. This looks like something you unlock on Golden Tee.

I think this looks badass.  Nice to see weight screws that should be easier to replace than the current Rogue cartridge setup.

It’s not a marketing term, it’s a process.

This is the one thing we couldnt see from the leaked catalog photos and I'm happy to see in the rear weight area. I still dont think the fairways will have it though, unfortunately.
