For sure noticed the fade bias. I hit a standard 10.5* but going to order the 9* n turn it up a degree I think. Time will tell on the weight split but have a couple good options to try out beside the 2/14 with the 8/8 n 6/10 suggestions. Thanks guys!

Let us know how it goes!

the look at address appears ever so slightly open.

This was the first thing I noticed when seeing it for the first time. While it didn't bother me (though it did quite a few other people), the Rogue ST stuff tended to have a slightly shut look when soled at address. PTD falls slightly open when soled.

I agree.  Even the TD model looked lightly closed at address.  I remember thinking the Max LS looked more square than standard TD.  I gamed Max LS last year and was able to turn it over quite a bit.  I feel like I have to work to turn over PTD, which for me isn't a bad thing at all.

Had a fitting today and the Paradym TD will be a problem for other OEMs.

SS 107 and I hit up 6 degrees on the ball. Tight draw and carry around 270.

the distance potential is insane and the forgiveness is really solid. Coming from my Mavrik Subzero it is night and day in terms of how stable the club and face is.
it also felt much softer than my Mavrik which I did like for the feedback aspect.

Really easy to find the centre of the face with and it’s really neutral in its flight.

standard version - hated it. Couldn’t find the centre of the face if I tried. Blocked it badly. It just looks massive.

the TD just got beat out by a TSR2 - but not on like for like best strikes. TSR2 front to back dispersion just too pure to pass up on.

Paradym looks way better in person. The TD shape is perfection but it just looks a bit disjointed from the top? I find the dark grey and blue didn’t really blend well nor did it contrast enough. Then it’s got more titanium at the back.
Doesn’t flow - however the effect looks brilliant even though I’m quite traditional in my pretences.

I went for a fitting twice and each time I saw almost no difference between the standard and the TD. Fitter suggested I stay with TD 9 deg with the weight back as I got the most distance out of it on good shots but in my mind I keep feeling I should pick the standard as it is the most forgiving model. The TD does look the best and looks really small compared to anything. At address it reminds me of the TM Mini Driver lol.

Anyone else have any experiences between the standard and the TD?

Not sure if this got hidden in the comments somewhere. But last night on Johnny wunders Q&A on instagram someone asked if the stock no charge upgrade Ventus TR was a real velocore shaft and he mentioned yes it was. Can anyone confirm this? that would be pretty exciting news if so.

The TR Blue 6 with the $250 upcharge has VeloCore and is the aftermarket/custom upgrade model.

Here we are again with Cally and TM coming together with @Fujikura Golf to bring more confusion to their potential customers.  So lame. Two non velocore Ventus Shafts and now two more non velocore TR shafts.

The shafts that include the VeloCore logo on them have VeloCore. The ones that do not, do not have VeloCore. If there is an upcharge for a VENTUS shaft then it has VeloCore. Club Companies call this out on their websites, but if you ever had any questions you could reach out to their customer service teams for clarification. An example of how this is called out is in the screenshot below. Hope this helps.

I had my first round of testing today albeit on GC quad indoors. Standard Paradym reminds me too much of last years ST Max, the top line sits square but the main face has that sense of being closed. The TD is totally different, flat, open and shows you all the loft at address. TD has my attention, super solid, workable and reasonable forgiveness. It will be down to that, the 430 LST or the TSR3 for the bag this year, nothing lese looks like it will offer me anything new. So 430 Max almost identical numbers to my 410 plus.

Got a session booked outdoors with Callaway on Thursday, so will see with my own eyes how it compares to the 410 plus.

IMO, Michael Newton may well have a better head strikes with the TSR3. I'll contrast MN to Jason @ askgolfnut. Watch his STZ230 and STZ230 and he really shows the impact of the high/low & heel/toe strikes and those 2023 Mizunos are sizzling hot.

Nonetheless, I do still like MN reviews. TSRs are a really nice line, didn't think Titleist could improve it post the TSi lines but hey.

I think we are lucky to live in times where we get some exceptional drivers 2022...2023 with some amazing technology & materials.

I give 5 stars to TSR for sound and feel.  3 stars on forgiveness and dispersion.  Everyone is different, for me personally, Rogue is right down broadway every time and I just keep taking my golf buddies money.  I realize this is a Paradym forum and i don't bag the driver.  I think its safe to say, overall, Paradym is a very good driver if your in the market though for a new driver.  I just didn't see any major difference in terms of distance or dispersion this and between my Rogue.

Does anyone know if Callaway tips any of their fitting shafts? Was testing out the TD with a Ventus Blue 6x and the set up was beating my current gamer and I know I can order the set up at a better cost than from Callaway but just don’t know if the shaft would need any tipping to be the same as what I was testing.

Measure the length from the shaft tip to the start of "velocore"...no tipping should be 4".

Okay, hopefully not a stupid question and I might know the answer in advance.  Situation: at local sporting goods store, I see left hand Rogue ST triple diamond demo club in the sale bin for under $300.  Also had a regular left hand LS for like 260, interestingly.  It is pristine but no headcover.  It is a rare bird that would hit that because this is not a golf-only store -- it is a general sporting goods store.  I looks like it was hit once or maybe twice TOPS.  So, is the Paradigm TD materially better than the Rogue ST TD?  I am guessing probably not and that I should hop on that deal.  Not really a callaway guy and use the TSr4 and TSi4 before that, but it is flatter than the TSr4 (58.5 versus 57 I think) and that appeals to me.  I like flatter and more open looking - strongly dislike the upright/closed look.  The bonus is that my son wants a tensei blue and this one has one.  So I figure at worst, I can pull the adapter and put on a titleist one for his driver (TSi3) and sell the head if I don't like it.

The problem with the Paradigm is that it is mighty pretty.  The Rogue ST is too, except for the matte (prefer gloss), but not enough to get me to spend on one.  For under $300 though, it is most certainly tempting.

Thanks in advance, of course.

I would jump on the deal, and get the shaft for your boy.  I had a Rogue St TD and now Paradym TD, I do believe the Paradym is longer and feels/sounds better...but not by much.  Small small margins.  To me the main squeeze is, I see the P TD as more fade biased and sits more open than Rogue.  Some people are sensitive to those things.  But, the Rogue TD is such good driver.  Seems like a win win for you and your son.  IF you change your mind, you can always BST it!
