Is Super better than Special? I was hoping for a rebrand of the Studio series without the dots but oh well.

Next years release will be "Splendid Select Newport" and the year after, "Stupendous Select Newport" - all containing new milling techniques and using the same metal that NASA use on the landing gear of the space shuttle. And the paint fill will be naturally forged sap from the branches of 30 year old maple tree's in the amazon forest. Not forgetting the new pistol grip which uses special 'grade T46' rubber from the used tyres of F1 cars from the US Grand Prix.

Can you confirm that "standard" putters cannot be purchased on the official website but only in shops that sell Scotty?

In Italy it is difficult to find all the models in the catalog while obviously the special series can only be obtained when all the planets align.

I'm interested in the new "plus" ... let's hope they arrive in Italy !!!

Definitely cannot buy them on the Scotty site (super select). They should be available at retailer like Pga superstore or golf galaxy US websites once they are released.

I will search on European sites where no duties or taxes are paid, such as from the USA and the UK... 😞

I’m fascinated that people even care about the name🤷🏻‍♂️  There is a significant number of comments on each SC thread about the name.  If I like a putter or driver or bag, it could be called brown turd and I wouldn’t care or have influence on my purchase.  It’s not as if I use equipment names ever.  My putter, my 3W etc…if someone asks, may say Scotty or Ping.  
To each their own, just find it noteworthy.

That sounds about right. Thats the norm. Bots are just too fast! Or the one of the other thousand+ members are just faster then u.  U basically have to click “add to cart”. There is no time to even read the description.  Click and buy. And Hope u like it once it arrives.

You can’t buy them from scottycameron.com. However, try the Titleist website in your area. Titleist started to offer their clubs online with fully customizable options.

 

Best way to get a Scotty Cameron with your preferred grip and length without sending it into the Custom Shop. Might work out cheaper TBH

If it helped my game, you bet.  Again, the name of equipment makes ZERO difference to me & never is considered in my choices.  Performance, feel, sound, looks….sure, but name, nope.
But hey, to each their own, what others choose to play makes no difference to me either.

I wouldn't stop myself from playing anything because of the name (within reason). I just think its cheesy and if you're going to make a product why not give your best efforts to make it appealing, TO INCLUDE a good name.

Super Select vs Queen Bee, Spider, Inovai, Frontline Elite, White Hot Versa et al., nothing is jumping out at me as “nailed the name”.

 

That said, I’m probably spending too much time talking about the name of a putter myself.

they likely won't sell that high.. maybe a couple of them but usually under 1000.  Seems like, again, there is a ton more than normal listed. 

 

Edit: just in the 5 mins i looked and refreshed ebay 20 more got listed
