Any Jacob Hill/Roger Ximenez belt fans?

I'm thinking of picking up a few belts from either. Does anyone know how often/when J Hill or Rog X run sales? I figure I just missed the black Friday sales.

JH runs them about every other month or so. If you buy a belt they give you a 15% off coupon for your next belt.

I have about a dozen JHill belts now, and love every one. I have some that are 6-7 years old and still hold up great. In fact the first one I bought, probably a decade ago, had the METAL BUCKLE break while the belt is still in wearable condition.

I have 6 Roger Ximenez/Antas Apparel belts and they are great. 3 of their embossed gators, a suede, and 2 pebbled. They do run some occasional sales and also have some final clearance items for fairly inexpensive. They also do a $100 off thing if you “share” their belts with others via an email link. $100 off for the other person and if they buy you get a $100 credit. Makes some pricey belts a lot more reasonable if you bite the bullet once.

Saltwater croc has held up quite nicely

and at least for the one I got from Jacob Hill, there was a decent sale.  Can't remember if it was 15 or 20% off

Jacob Hill is top notch, great customer service, and a great product. YEAREND15 will get you 15%. I don’t know how much longer that is good for.

I have roughly 3-4 dozen belts from Jacob Hill (not to mention several dozen cash covers, etc). I have been buying from Jay for over a decade now. Quality is top notch and I have yet to have a belt get worn so much I have had to discard it.

Thanks to everyone who replied in this thread. Just ordered my first Jacob Hill belt. I got on the mailing list and scored a belt from the sample sale today. Pretty much exactly what I wanted to order anyways. Pebble grain Green with yellow X stitch. Saved around $60 on it, which is cool. I lost a bunch of weight this year and have had to replace everything (and I mean everything other than socks/shoes), which is pretty pricey. Never had nice belts before so I thought a belt was a great way to celebrate the slim down.

I have 6 Jacob Hill belts. They are extremely high quality, super stylish, unique, etc. I had a guy ask me about one of my belts this week. He said “that is obviously a custom and high quality belt…where did you get it?”  
 

Looks like you got what you needed but they run frequent sales, though the Black Friday one is the best of them. Once you get one belt, you’ll be checking their website/mailers frequently to see what sales they are running.

Totally agree with that

Also have a handful of jacob hill belts.  Just get the sizing right.  I've had couple made for custom sizes right in between stock sizes, and Jay was great to work with.  very accommodating and responsive too.  They wear well, last long, and look good too.

And their specials are usually not god awful, so there's a relatively cheap way to try one out

I just emailed Jay. He prefers hanging them so they can dry (if wet/sweaty).
