Ok. I've been on this forum for a long time. I know the love for the TW13. I never owned a pair. Please inform me. What makes they're the best shoes ever, and why should I spend $240 on them? They don't look like they breathe terribly well. I LOVE the free sole. So I get that.

They are extremely flexible and low drop before it was a thing in golf shoes is my take. Plus, they looked pretty cool for 2013. Nike Free are some of the only shoes I can wear all day without foot pain. Introducing them to golf was a game changer for comfort for a lot of people.

I still own original TW 13 and 14.

 

I prefer the 14, I also have not worn the shoes in years, not a fan at all!

I’d love to see the Red Swoosh, but I’m guessing it will be Red outline and maybe red on the sole

1. the sole, it's just great

2. looks good for a golf shoe, even today

3. weatherproof, so it's got all the comfort + it can be worn as a proper golf shoe, not a casual (which does mean the breathing isn't great, that's the one shortcoming)

4. The material it's made with does not crease, which means they look great for a long long time and are very durable. The opposite of most current Nike golf items lol

 

It's just an extremely stable, extremely comfortable golf shoe and it ages well. It should always be available from Nike IMO. I'd buy a pair once every few years lovingly.

Sorry for not going through the entire thread.  But, any chance we see something like this come back? My favorite shoe of all time.  They command some good $$ on the second hand market.  There is still a desire for these soles.

EDIT* I just saw the $240 asking price.  WOW.  I am not a shoe guy.  So, that just seems absurd to me.  I will likely buy but damn that's steep.

I feel the same way.  I usually do not spend that much for golf shoes, however... These are my holy grail. I'll lay down the cash for them.

Yeah, same here.  I hate buying used shoes, because gross.  But, I was kind of on the verge of considering it for these.  Now, I will gladly pay for a pair that doesn't have someone else's feet in it before mine.

I find them to have a level of comfort and stability that I haven't been able to find in another golf shoe.  Either I go spikeless for comfort and lose the stability.  Or I go spiked and have my feet hurt at the end of the round.  I admittedly have bad feet (arthritis in both).  So, I am extra picky when it comes to foot wear.

I feel this way as well. They're a no-sacrifice golf shoe.  You get excellent stability on a very comfortable, light shoe. Something fairly rare in the golfing world. And, you can still get metal spikes for the type of spike this takes, should you be so inclined and your club allows it (or you're good at being subtle).

I doubt they make the "drop date".  Sheeeeeet we still haven't seen the 1 Low Gs on NDC that were supposed to drop on 1/1. I just wonder how long these "supply chain" issues will impact drops

The top of the heel was the worst part of the VT2 - I had multiple pairs and the fabric on every one split at the top of the heel.  To their credit, Nike replaced or refunded  all of them.
